So... I'm a little confused, and heartbroken..
Last time I was here it was great. The drink I got was so delicious and worth the walk from Sunalta during the summer. The cups are adorable and the decor in the store is just as cute. I kept my 16oz cup for iced coffees at home.
Fast forward to today, and I'm a little confused as to the drink I received... I ordered the Iced Brown Sugar Black Pearl Dirty Milk. I've never had this drink before so I just thought that was normal.
Unfortunately I had to come back to the store because the rim of the cup was broken and leaking milk on me. It's okay, it happens. Upon receiving a new cup, however... It was just white milk, a little bit of drizzle and boba pearls. It looked lighter in colour than the first cup. There was barely any ice and they all melted within five minutes.
I'm really confused and disappointed. I basically paid 8 dollars for slightly cool semi-sweet milk and boba pearls. If this is how the drink is made, please tell me, but otherwise I don't think I will make the effort to return. :(

The Pumpkin Gelato at YummyQ is amazing! Smooth, creamy pumpkin with crunchy chocolate pieces and no cinnamon at all. Can’t wait to come back to try other flavors!

I was so surprised to find a really good miso soup here! It comes in a big 16oz bowl with soft tofu, seaweed, and fresh green onions — super comforting and flavorful! Perfect treat for this cold windy weather!

Tried the Coconut Sky Dirty Milk and absolutely loved it! 🥥 The coconut flavor tastes super smooth and not too sweet. The blue color comes from butterfly pea powder and looks so gorgeous! It feels like a tropical vacation— really unique and refreshing. Totally recommend this one if you like coconut drinks!

The Classic Taro Mountain Bowl was amazing! The taro paste is rich and creamy, and you can really tell it’s made with real ingredients. The layers of taro ball, milk, and chewy toppings make every bite fun. It’s filling but not heavy — perfect as a dessert or a small meal. Definitely one of my new favorites at Yummy Q! Btw they redecorated their space with the new owner’s artworks, which is so elegant and cool!

The lychee rose flavor is absolutely delicious! The owner told me the roses are from Yunnan, China,the aroma is so rich and elegant. The pistachio is amazing too! This is truly the best gelato shop in Calgary. Even with so much competition around, it has been open for about eight years, using authentic Italian ingredients and machines. No wonder their flavors are loved by so many people!
