Food - ordered chicken Alfredo, the pasta and chicken was tasteless, similar to those frozen packages that you buy at Cosco for a quick meal. The pasta was undercooked, the chicken was chewy, colorless, and tasteless. The sauce, was soo much that it seemed to have been straight from the jar, warmed up, and poured all over it. Also, my husband and heard a microwave right after placing our order, which came to us in less than 5 min.
The service, overall okay, but I dont understand why a waitress have to ask a phone number and a name to place an order? I've never seen this anywhere else, it felt invasive, it seemed like they were scared that we wouldn't pay for our food, but she said it was to send us promotions, and the restaurant asked this to every customer to place an order. I found this ridiculous and will never come back.

Update answer: I'm sorry but you might be confusing us with someone else. Both my husband and I ordered the same thing, we paid for everything + tip. We never asked for discount or anything and we didn't mention our dislike for the food to the waitress as we didnt want to stay longer.

Sever was great from the moment we walked in. All food and dessert was amazing! And didn’t try shoving us out the door after we were done with our dinner! Will definitely drive the hour to come back!

Our experiences waitress was the right amount of attentive and non-intrusive. Lovely Italian atmosphere . Hubby, son and I went for dinner - pasta al dente, veal parm was sooo good, kids spaghetti with meat balls was filling for the 10 year old and the spaghetti with seafood was delicious. Fresh ingredients, nice portions. We will be back!

To be honest I don't know how this place has received so many 5 star reviews. It felt like a fast food restaurant as out food arrived in minutes, and was ok but nothing spectacular. It was a bit bland and boring. I had the spaghetti and meatballs and husband had lasagna. We have both been sick since and deeply disappointed as I was excited to try this place.
I never leave reviews but this needed to be said. Most overrated restaurant on Google.

Walked in at around 8pm on a weekday (closing time is 9pm) and had the best experience - ordered arancini, bruschetta, and a build your own pasta - penne in rose sauce with veggies and chicken (halal) - best pasta I’ve ever had in North America!! And such a great quantity - between 2 of us we had leftovers - and such warm service despite being close to closing time … will definitely be back!!

NOT GLUTEN FREE - Celiac Awareness
This place has Gluten Free options - Please be aware!
I should have known better, and I take full responsibility for my choice on the restaurant choice. I have Celiac Disease and am highly allergic to Gluten. I called YYC Pasta Bar in Douglas Dale and they informed me over the phone that they offer Gluten Free items on their menu, which they do. I enjoyed my meal and ordered there Gluten Free Gnocchin which was outstanding and thought to myself this is too good to be true. The waitress made note of my allergy and confirmed that the pasta would be Gluten Free.

After dinner and on the way home I fell very ill, to the point where I couldn't move, the pain was so intense that my husband wanted to take me to the hospital. It takes about 24-49 hours for a Gluten attack to go away.

I am only writing this post to warn others who have a Gluten allergy to be careful, so you don't experience the immense pain that I had and still have.

Other than my meal not being safe when I was told it was, I sadly won't be back. This was my first time going to this restaurant and it will be my last. I love GF pasta and I was hoping for Gluten Free Gnocchin. Just want to make other people with Celiac Disease aware, and I should have known better to not enter a Gluten filled restaurant.

Service was amazing though and the waitress was so lovely.

Ordered 3 orders of fettuccini Alfredo from here on Skip and none of the 3 of us would eat it. The noddles are gummy and not cooked and the sauce has zero flavour. Complete waste of money.

Consistently great food and service. There is a wide selection of pasta dishes to choose from and for those who don't want pasta, there is a selection of burgers/sandwiches to choose from.

I had found Pasta Bar on Tik Tok! We decided to go there for a early birthday dinner for my husband. I personally have never had fresh pasta before and had meatball and spaghetti in mind. But when I got there I had two more choices.
Confused on what I wanted the owner was walking by checking on the customers experiences. Stopped and talked to us (you don't find that anymore) really enjoyed that 1 on 1 conversation. Anyhow went with the lobster ravioli still thinking about the meatballs and spaghetti. What a surprise by the owner she brought me the meatball and spaghetti dish to try. Needless to say we both had to bring food home. I would highly recommend this pasta bar. It was well worth the drive from Airdrie, Thanks fir the experience !
