Had the omakase recently at Zushi and it was a great experience. The sushi they served was very good - the wife and I really enjoyed it. Favourites were the tuna with truffle oil, and the grilled shrimp topped with tuna belly. Service was super friendly. Would definitely go back for more

I took my best friend and wife out for the Omakase and all I can say is WOW.
The appetizers were a great start and after eating them you truly know you are in for an amazing experience.
We will definitely be back soon as every dish was absolutely perfect.
Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic, hand made rolls that were incredibly tasty (and reasonably priced) the chef and hostess were so pleasant. Had to get some onigiri to hold us over until the next time we are there. This little restaurant is right out of Golden Gai. Highly recommend!

I’ve been to Zushi a several times now with the Omakasi experience. We were greeted with so much warmth and enthusiasm every single time by Ann and Chef Minh.
Food is amazing, and the miso soup is probably the best I’ve ever had. It’s really good value and it’s definitely a unique experience. Highly recommend!

Hello!!!!
I went to Zushi for my anniversary with my partner and we both loved our experience! Immediately, the atmosphere is warm, intimate, and very welcoming. Though there are many other vendors around, once you’re seated it truly feels like you’re in your own world with your loved ones and the chefs. We had the 11 course omakase, and I can confidently say every single bite was absolutely delicious! Beautifully presented, perfectly balanced flavours, and very filling! I’m hoping to come back here again with my family and friends and I’d recommend it to anyone who loves high quality sushi and a one of a kind experience. Chef Min, and Chef Hai-hon, and Anne are an incredible team! You will not regret checking this place out!

Incredible sushi for the price. I went for the omakase and it was around $50 per person and the variety and quality of the dishes they served were amazing.

Booked in advance. First time trying omakase and it was an amazing experience. Each piece had a great balance of being able to taste each fish’s natural flavours complemented by a sauce or garnish. Service was top notch, chef was personable, as was our waitress. Would come again :)

Zushi may be unassuming in a sea of amazing food spots inside Avenida Food Hall, but make no mistake. This spot serves the freshest sushi. We had to ask for the fatty tuna, which thank goodness they had two servings left of. We also had yellowfin from my motherland, the Philippines and salmon from BC — all were just out of this world. Shoutout to Ate Anne, who, hands down, gave the best service! We can’t wait to try their omakase (which you need to book ahead of time)!

We wanted to participate in the Omakase experience. We drove 20 minutes, arrived and stood at the till. There was zero acknowledgment that we were there. We waited for 15 minutes before someone acknowledged us, when we tried to order the experience and were told we needed a reservation. That’s unfortunate but the reality so we were given a menu, we tried to order, the server confirmed with the chef and he (very clearly annoyed we there) said the kitchen was closed. The reservation was unfortunate, so was them being closed (despite people eating there at the time) but making us wait 15-minutes AND giving us a menu just to tell us they were closed? Very disappointing. We won’t return.
It’s just as good as an omakase in Japan, but at a fraction of the price

Min and Anne made the omakase experience amazing! The sable, salmon belly, and unagi with snow crabs were a few favourites! We were surprised how affordable it was for the quality of fish he provided. We will definitely be back !!
