THE BEST SUSHI! I tried this for the first time on Sunday, then couldn’t stop thinking about it all week. I’m so happy that Thursday arrived so I could enjoy again. Definitely recommend!

My partner and I tried the temaki omakase for dinner. There are ten courses: four appetizers, five temaki and dessert. The service was delightful and attentive. The sashimi was fresh and the temaki were high quality and artfully prepared. We also tried yellowtail nigiri, scallop nigiri and sablefish nigiri, which were all fresh and expertly prepared. As it is in Avenida Food Hall, don’t expect to be in an upscale and quiet dining room. It is perfect for those, like us, who appreciate good food in a simple and casual setting. We would recommend!

I got a hand roll and nigiri set for lunch. Himatchi and salmon toro nigiri might have been the best I’ve ever had.

After my wife had gone through her entire pregnancy without sushi, we were really excited to go back to our go to spot at Zushi in Avenida Market.
We ordered the Sablefish, Waygu and Snowcrab pressed rolls and a sashimi platter for lunch. While the rest of the food was quite good, the Waygu was quite poor compared to what we had remembered. The beef slices are not tender at all and had quite a lot of connective tissue making us question if it was even in fact Wagyu... We were kind of disappointed as it is usually one of our favorite rolls. If we weren't on a time crunch, I would have brought it up to the staff as it was a waste of money in our opinion.

Really enjoyed the omakase experience we had here a couple of months ago. The salmon belly w/ gochujang was one of the best bites of sushi we've ever had!
The Wagyu we were served was quite tough, maybe it was just not the best cut. At the beginning of the course we were asked if we wanted tea, however we realized later that it was $4/person. Not a big deal, but we probably would have split a teapot if we knew.
The service here is one of the best ever. I needed a cake for a birthday and they went above and beyond to help me out! Thank you very much to the Zushi team, we eagerly await your next omakase course!

Temaki omakase for 10 course meal for $50
Started with Sashimi - Hamachi, Tuna and Salmon, salad, chawanmushi and miso soup
5 temaki:
-Side stripe prawn
-Red tuna with tobiko and truffle oil
-Salmon belly with gochujang sauce
-Wild snowcrab meat with spicy sauce
-Canadian wagyu with truffle mayo and garlic chip
Ended with Matcha basque cheesecake for dessert
My favourite was the snowcrab and the salmon belly one.

The omakase experience was great. Not bad to try it once. Food was fresh and yum. The miso soup was a little bit greasy in my opinion but everything else was meeting my expectation. The downside was that the market was a bit noisy inside so it was not very easy to chat or hear what the server explained to us. But it was still good in general.
