“Soooooo good! At first glance we weren’t sure about dining there because the decor was very understated, but boy were we glad we did! The food was delicious! Portions are huge! To make the experience even more incredible… the staff was wonderful! We were treated to the finest service - 4 generations of family recipes, mama cooking the food, and the loveliest daughter serving us. We were in awe of her charm and warmth! Definitely recommended and looking forward to a return! 5/5”

“I love this place! It's cozy and calm and the coffee is delicious! It's great when I need to work while I'm in town as there are cozy rooms upstairs that are very quiet. I also enjoy meeting a friend to chat as the unique and calming furniture and decor is perfect for relaxing.”

“i had never known of this place so i stopped in tuesday to see about some lunch. got the taco tuesday meal and saw frozen dinners in the freezer too so i grabbed one of each. just finished a turkey dinner and it was excellent, so was the taco. will definately be stocking my work freezer with these good meals! glad i found this place juat across the tracks from my shop!”

“My family and I were looking for ice cream nearby Main Street Camrose. We found Market 1908, situated in a historic building with steps going up to the elegant designed shop area. As soon as you walk in you get the feeling of quality and craftsmanship as you gaze upon the large serving counter area. Old fashioned quality is what you see, daily ice cream choices, fresh treats in coolers including cannoli, lemon squares and yes even macaroons. Next is the large coffee bar with a large selection of specialty coffees and teas. From iced coffee to a Frost (slush style) to regular lattes and coffee. Their is a large selection of teas and specialty items for your tea party. I had a Mocha Frost, it was creamy and very delicious, a mixture of coffee flavours and a cool slush, just great. My wife had an ice cream cone, she really enjoyed it. My daughter has a Chai Frost, she loved it. Highly recommended ice cream, coffee, tea, snack and lunch experience.”

A&W seems to be returning to what made it great in the first place, quality comfort food. As child I remember driving into A&W with my parents and getting fish and chips or a hamburger and drinking cold A&W Root Beer in cold glass mugs with condensation forming on the outside. I love going in and reliving that experience.”

“We had the most amazing experience at chopped leaf today! We picked up a couple sandwiches, and while we were waiting, they asked if we wanted to try a little of the soup. They gave us little containers to test, and cups of ice water, free of charge. Not sure if they are new owners, but they are extremely accommodating and so nice to chat with. 😁”

“We have been eating at this establishment for several years; always has been our “go to” when in Camrose. When the hotel changed ownership we were concerned the food quality at the restaurant might suffer.
Well in my opinion the food quality is better than what was offered previously. Today we decided to have the buffet. Chicken tenders, meatballs, mashed potatoes, veggies and tapioca pudding. For starters, the chicken tenders appeared to be a bit dry. What a surprise to have a nicely seasoned crispy outside and tender and juicy inside.
; with choice of gravy or plum sauce. Meatballs must have been finely ground sirloin. Again tender soft; no chewy bits, perfectly seasoned and delicious. Mashed potatoes were comment worthy along with the vegetables. Warm tapioca pudding to top things off. Also not to forget the salad/soup bar. I usually have a bowl of soup for desert as soup choices are the best soup around. The salads are all different with unique flavors. The soup/ salad bar at $15.95 is good price for the quality of the product. Add another $3 and you have a complete meal.
This is a great price for a quality meal served by very capable and friendly wait staff. Keep up the good work.”

We also order the 20 pack of boneless chicken wings (GF) for a wonderful meal. The employees are very helpful and ensure our order is perfect each time. The premises are clean and orderly.
