“Honestly I think the food can get more love if they actually put the effort into it. Don't get me wrong , the rice is tasty but most of the time it's either too dry, hard, or plain. The ribs are sometimes perfect depending what time you order .. and the gravy with fries was so salty at first but I've noticed it's been actually pretty good. The cheeseburgers are a bit over cooked and the bacon as well. The wontons are ok. The egg rolls are ok besides the extra crunch. I have concerns over the fish and chips but overall the food is decent , decent price, decent environment, and decent cooks. 4/10”

“This January Jen catered our staff Christmas party meal. While all of the food on their menu is fantastic, they also offer alternative menus for catering to best suit the atmosphere of the event! All of the food was the perfect temperature, arrived on time, and tasted absolutely amazing. Condiments and utensils were supplied to us and later collected. The catering service also has extremely reasonable pricing! I would recommend cornerstone for catering a hundred times over. Thank you so much for the great food and the great servvice!”

“Great place for delicious coffee and food. Highly recommend the Bacon cheese scone or the white chocolate raspberry scone. We had the Chai tea latte, white chocolate pumpkin latte and maple pumpkin cold brew. All was delicious. The Chai tea latte was a little on the hot side and the pumpkin cold brew could have had less milk more coffee. Was about $28 for 3 drinks and 3 scones.”

“A visit to Wetaskiwin led to lunch at the Seoul Restaurant which was absolutely divine in terms of food, ambience and service for Japanese/Korean cuisine; The decor and positive vibe is soothing for the soul and I will most definitely recommend Seoul far and wide in my circle and return again for certain when visiting Wetaskiwin; the Kimchi pancake was delicious and the bento box too; kimchi is excellent nutrition for our microbiome along with the miso soup and overall tempura prawns were not over fried and simply perfect with the sweet/sour/hot special sauce of Seoul's! And whilst we were the first at opening 11:30am, in no time the place was full. Plenty of parking also as a bonus!!”

“Been here many times over the years, first as a guest at the Best Western Wayside Inn and now as a resident of Wetaskiwin. The food is always tasty snd served quickly. Service has always been excellent and pleasant. Atmosphere is cozy pub-like. Try the deep fried dill pickles and definitely the wings (lots of flavours). Specials always are good as are all the menu items we’ve tried. My mother was fussy about restaurants but Barney’s was a favourite for her, especially “her” table by the fireplace!Parking: Huge lot beside the hotel.”

“I took our boys out for cheap sushi night. Just under $10 for 16 pieces of sushi. I also ordered the tempura yams and 3 tempura shrimp.The sushi was decent. Tiger Rolls are the best! Followed by Volcano, then Dynamite, then the California rolls.I'd recommend passing on the tempura. It lacked flavor and was quite oily. It was not worth the money.”

This is the best pizza joint in Wetaskiwin and I guess that's why we always go back. We've tried the other local pizzarias and the big chain pizzerias in Wetaskiwin, but none can compete with the quality of personalized service, from scratch dough and really tasty ingredients from Angelos.”
