“Had a great stop here today. Fast, friendly service and very appetizing full breakfast. Don't let the cafeteria frontage fool you, this place it legit! Note they are cash only but there is an ATM handy. There are good number of tables and all but one were full when I visited. Located in the Ag center.”

“The chef came out to see how much I loved my steak. I got to thank him personally and he told me all beef is brought in from a local Alberta farmer. We talked a lot about how fun it is to live in a small town. Ponoka is where I was born. My birthday was two days ago and I still got a free brownie! Thank you Raul I hope I spelt that right your wife was there too and I forget her name.. she’s pretty, and thanks to your funny staff. I’m glad she didn’t sing lol. Hitching post Rocks!”

“Had a great experience here today(May 19/26). Was fast service to the counter, great smile from the sandwhich maker, good communication from floor sweeper to sandwhich maker to advise I had come in. Sub was nicely prepared in a timely fashion with 1 or 2 other customers in drivethru. Service was great. Will keep coming back.”

“Stopped for a quick bite. Easy access of highway 2. It was busy but staff were quick on the job. I thinking parking would be a bit of a challenge if the hotel was full and it was peak hours for the restaurant.”

“Newton at Pizza Hut in Ponoka went above and beyond to assist us with ordering for our ringette team. He spent extra time assisting us , he made sure we had the right number of pizza’s ordered for the size of our group . He was kind, patient and thoughtful!”

“Terrible service, food is ALWAYS wrong, they make you pull ahead for the tiniest of orders, oh and if you don't tell them you want the contents of your burgers, they probably won't give it to you OR ice in your iced coffee. They'll also give you whatever they decide, never mind if you tell them repeatedly about allgeries. If you ask to speak to a manager they all say they're managers. The worst McDonalds I have ever been to, and it obviously will NEVER change. Oh, and they smashed my side mirror with their debit machine and apparently that's okay, because head office has screwed me around for months. Top shelf people, for sure!”

“Best Chinese food that is hot and ready to go always! Try the hungry man breakfast too, eggs made to order and the bannock dogs are Deadlee. The staff is excellent”
