One of the best meals we’ve had in a very long time! We got the vegetarian chef’s menu (“Yes Chef”) and the dishes were all so creative, flavorful and perfectly prepared. And the service, our primary server was Malika , was attentive, warm and relaxed. A truly special meal.

To die for! Vegan options!!We did the chef’s special, where they keep bringing you items until you are stuffed for three days after. I’m vegan, but everyone else is meat eater and they accommodated us all. Definitely worth the price, considering all of us didn’t need to eat the next day bc we were so full. It started off slow and we weren’t sure how much food there would be. But dish after dish was a banger, and pleased all of us. The server was clear on what was vegan, and what wasn’t.Highlights : vegan ahi, vegan caviar spread (with vegan egg yolks!), egg rolls, and passion fruit mousse.Super cute intimate vibe. If I’m ever in the area I will 100% be back.

What an absolute pleasure to dine at 4296, this evening. Our delightful server, Emily was the most kind and accommodating human. She made sure both our allergy and preferences were taken care of, which made the experience that much better. We tried a wide variety of dishes, all Vegan, which included the "Crab" Hand Rolls, Thai Broccoli, Poke, Truffle & Caviar Fries, Miso Mustard Beets, Smashed Radish & Cucumber Salad & the Hot Honey "Chicken". We finished off with the remarkable Passion Fruit Mousse. All of the dishes were absolutely amazing. Presentation and Taste were top notch and we could not have chosen a better way to end our visit to Canmore. Even if you are not Vegan or Vegetarian, I would encourage you to take a trip to 4296 and indulge in a few or all of the aforementioned items. This was an absolutely stunning dining experience and we will return to Canmore, simply to dine with 4296. Thank you for a wonderful meal and top tier service.Dietary restrictions: They accommodated our nut, Hemp and Quinoa allergies. The vegan options were also plentiful and delicious.

The food is so creative, and incredibly delicious! The brûlée halloumi, porky belly, beef spring rolls and soft crab rolls were all amazing! My favorite was their chateaubriand (steak)… it’s the best in town!!! We were also able to experience the hidden speakeasy (bar deja vu) where the cocktail's were unique and very tasty! The atmosphere and staff are phenomenal. Loved the whole experience!!! Highly recommend 4296!!!
This is a modern but intimate restaurant. Not inexpensive, but it is my wife's birthday and a night to splurge.We enjoyed the Chef's tasting menu, with Asian-inspired sushi cones, a radish and cucumber salad with nice sweet dressing, and encrusted eggs with caviar. This was followed by delicious crisp pork belly with mandarin, fries with cilantro and jalapeño, and medium rare beef tenderloin and black pepper sauce with charred broccoli.Everything was first rate, and the service was top notch. An evening well spent.

Amazing for foodies or an upscale date night. The food is incredibly innovative and the pork belly gives an entire sensory experience (you have to try it to know what I mean). The servers were all friendly - even the ones not helping us. Great food, great service, incredible and unique cocktails.

We had a fabulous experience at 4296. We had an early reservation and appreciated the extra attention. We did the chef's dinner when we had no idea what we were going to get next. The dishes were complex and served in an attractive manner. It was only matched by the amazing flavours of each dish. We didn't enjoy one of the dishes due to it being too salty. They brought us another dish and it was delectable. We took a peek into the speak easy and had a cool vibe. We will definitely be back.
