My friend ordered a side of 8 pieces of bacon and that was $31 a little ridiculous, no? đ€Ł also the amount of times the young girl touched her face, rubbed nose, texted and then boxed up food/made drinks made me a little uncomfortable. We are staying in the hotel and my husband has purchased black drip coffee 3 separate mornings. The coffee is mediocre (it takes like instant coffee) and itâs in carafes that he has to pump himself into the take away cups.
Keep in mind the prices below include a 10% discount for hotel guests. The price has been different three times now. The first day it was $12.76, the next time it was $14.18 and today it was $15.12. When he questioned her today on why it keeps increasing she says she doesnât know why the price would be different, Iâm the owner and this is the price. She then informed him that he was paying for the coffee, plus the cups, plus the tray. Note, the tray was provided and not something requested.
At the very least there would be an expectation for an owner to be apologetic for the price variance but instead she was smug and dismissive.

Ordered two coffees, hardly anyone here, took 20 mins and they were lukewarm. I am actually at a loss to understand how this can be so hard. Avoid.

Not the friendliest staff. The lady behind the counter just stared at me when I said âhi how are youâ. Then proceeded to charge me extra for coffee for take out cups which as a surprise on my 3rd visit there. The pricing on the walk does not indicate any up charge for take away cups. I wouldnât mind paying it but I prefer transparency. Drip coffee is good and they offer light, medium, and dark roast.

I know prices have gone up. But we were charged like $10 ($5 is reasonable and profitable for you) for a bagel with cream cheese. Câmon seriously?! And there wasnât even a lot of cream cheese. The breakfast Sammieâs are small and not great. I know itâs Canmore but this isnât the Fairmont either. Nice hotel but I canât justify spending $60 (or more) on a mediocre breakfast for my family here.
The mochas are good the customer service is đ Very unfriendly person working there she definitely does not want to be there probably the most unfriendly service we had in Canmore - not appreciated in the morning ! No hello or any other greeting at all confusion as to where to order at one point she snapped at us. If you own a coffee shop try and be welcoming in the morning or hire someone who is. The rudeness alone made us uncomfortable enough not to return on our next trip.

Had the banana smoothie and Matcha, both were pretty terrible. The banana smoothie just tasted like a poorly mixed protein powder drink, and the Matcha was as pale as a ghost and tasted foul.
We also got a carrot cake muffin which was OK, but the texture was very unpleasant because it was very cold.
Maybe the coffee is the saving grace, but I would steer clear of those two. The pricing is also pretty terrible

Went here one morning, the server didnât seem too pleasant. Ice coffee didnât taste good but the breakfast sandwiches are nice. What I didnât appreciate was being handed a straw with bare hands â it wasnât wrapped, and it was placed directly on the bar/table. It felt unsanitary.
