BLAKE Restaurant Brewhouse and Distillery

What a great place. Food was so amazing. Service was great. We spent 2 hrs chatting and sharing the happy hour deals on food and drinks. The beer was good and their specialty drinks were a treat. Original appys and their own twist on lettuce wraps. We wished we found it earlier in our visit. We will definitely catch them next time we visit Canmore. Happy hour deals were great.

Walk in to a friendly, casual space, welcomed by excellent staff. We went for an early dinner (feeling old) and started with happy hour discounts - delicious beer!

We ordered the pork belly burnt ends with a unique aloli. (Terrific).

Highly recommend the fresh lettuce wraps and chicken katsu sanwich (please add on the Satay Fries, you will NOT regret it! Unreal.

The new menu is amazing. Will return for more.

Delish food with spacious atmosphere.

Def a bit on the pricier side but this was one of those places where I don't think you could go wrong with any choice. Lots of Asian-inspired dishes that were very flavorful! Staff was great as well!

It was great when the original owner & chef Blake owned it.

We stopped in for lunch and were not disappointed.
I got the lettuce wraps with beef, they were delicious. A little bit challenging to wrap with romaine lettuce vs iceberg lettuce but the flavour was amazing.
My husband got the lamb dip. He liked it, it was a very strong lamb flavour for my liking. He got the chat fries as the side- highly recommended. They were amazing.

BLAKE Restaurant in Canmore offers an outstanding dining experience with a vibrant and unique menu. We enjoyed our meals so much that we visited twice during our stay. The lamb dip sandwich was one of the best we’ve ever had! They brew their own spirits, and the drinks are fantastic, served in glasses that have cool glowing mountain designs at the bottom, adding a fun and memorable touch.

The only downside was the slow service, but the place was very busy, which shows just how popular it is. Overall, BLAKE is a must-try spot for anyone visiting Canmore!

A group of eight of us (four adults and four kids under eight) came for dinner, and we had such a great experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was absolutely delicious.

I ordered the braised lamb dip—it was amazing! Kind of like a Vietnamese sub with a beef dip twist. The burger was also a hit, served on a unique “charcoal” bun, and the pork bao was so good too. The kids’ meals were generous and even came with a tasty cookie.

Drinks were on point—I had the passion fruit margarita, and it was perfect. Our server, Christina, was wonderful: friendly, attentive, and so pleasant throughout the night.

Props to this place! We’ll 100% be back.

Met up with some friends in Canmore and we decided to check this establishment out as it was recommended from our friends that live out there. Nice room with big windows and high ceilings, and when the sunlight is out you get a great view of the mountains. We all enjoyed our food and unfortunately none of us were drinking that night, so didn't get to try and of the local brews they had. One fobthe chef's came out to talk to us and explained that the ice cream was also all made in house and everyone at the table tried it and gave it 2 thumbs up. For the dinner I had the braised Lamb dip and it was very flavorful and kind of like a Vietnamese Banh Mi that has a dip.

Such interesting fusion - kinda North American - meets - Asia with an amazing Thai salad, fries with a sweetish spicy curry sauce, a couple of great Veggie options like a Dahl burger and a weirdly divine Cauliflower-based dish; Luxe Vietnamese-inspired hot Sandwiches, and you have to try their decadent LIQUID DESSERTS. Thank you for the massive screen for the baseball (SO CLOSE, Blue Jays). My kiddos and a UK-based foodie friend who eats at many of the highest ranked restaurants in London, put it in his top ten. Prices pretty reasonable considering the creativity put into the menu. Service from AMBER was super attentive and friendly; quick service, always topping up the soda for the girls, nice colouring and kids menu with *sharpened* colour pencils. So highly recommended.

Servers are excellent and friendly.
I had the tostada and lemongrass chicken dish. The chicken was on point.
Vibe is super cool and beers are excellent. The APA was my favourite.
They also have a great happy hour which discounts the appetizers and beer flights !
