Fantastic cozy cafe.
Tried the Nutella Crepe with Strawberries and it was delicious! Lots of Nutella and the perfect amount of strawberries. Also got a Butterscotch hot chocolate - would recommend!

Went here for breakfast after seeing the very high review score.
The food was not great:
omelette was not a really omelette (just some items folded inside a scrambled egg).
The coffee was very burnt and as someone who enjoys “diner coffee” it was undrinkable.
The potato is just frozen french fries that are very floppy and meant for a burger, not a breakfast plate.
Overall feels like a very average breakfast with bad coffee - however the price we paid was the highest one across our few days in Canmore/Banff.
An hour later I’m still thinking about how disappointing the entire experience was.

Our brunch experience was exceptional! Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it the perfect weekend treat. Chef Janet’s creativity truly shined through each plate, from the vibrant flavors to the beautiful presentation. We can’t wait to come.

The hot chocolate was tasty but the cost vs the value for the food wasn’t there. At least not for the lazy breakfast. Super cheap ingredients with funky flavours.

If you’re in Canmore, you can’t miss brunch at Cacao. Everything is absolutely delicious, especially the Croque Madame — perfectly made and full of flavor.
The presentations are stunning and very original, every dish looks like a little piece of art. On top of that, the staff is super friendly and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better.
It’s the perfect spot to enjoy with friends, family, or even on your own. 💛
Definitely one of the best brunch spots in Canmore — a must-try! 🥐☕🍓🫶🏻I would have loved to take a picture of my breakfast before finishing it😩🥹

Noisy, but the only decent place open before 3pm. Glad it was. Got some coffee and then came back for lunch, split a sandwich, and had 2 orange cream sodas (that tasted like orange creamsicles) ❤️ went here last month.

Came here on a Tuesday afternoon and had two hot chocolates, avocado toast and the small sized chocolate fondue. It was big enough for two adults and a toddler to share. Everything tasted amazing and the ladies working here were super nice.

Good crepe. Perhaps the waffle is more popular here, though we didn’t get it.

Checked this place out on our last day and it was great! Service was amazing and did not have to wait too long for our food. Staff were attentive and friendly. The food in my opinion was pretty fantastic. I’m basic and had their lazy breakfast with half a waffle and that was fulfilling. Will highly recommend and will definitely try it out again! Thank you guys!

We visited last summer and we talk about the chocolate fondue all the time. Dark and milk were so good!! My kids always say when are we going back. Soon, I say! We love Canmore and your fondue 😊
