Horrible... buddy literally threw together some rolls... cucumber and some fish and for spicy he added straight Sriracha... fish looked and smelled old... he didn't put any sauce on my dynamite roll... so I called him and asked why he didn't put any sauce on it... he said for sit down he would... I said and why not a proper spicy sauce? He said it's his home made blend (Sriracha) I expected him to apologize or try to fix it... nothing... defended his position.
I wouldn't have wrote a review and usually don't.... but come on... if you like real sushi... DO NOT GO HERE.

What an adorable hidden gem in Canmore! Good spot for some instant noodles, and light Japanese snacks and beverages. They serve sushi but during my visit in Dec 2025 there was no ramen 🍜 which I was craving! Will definitely revisit to try 🍣

Service was fine, was fast to get my big order combo. Sushi is my favourite food and I was excited to try out a new spot. Price was reasonable. But then got home tried the sushi and regretted getting so much. Would have been better off getting from the grocery store, tasted kind of old and bland. Very fishy smelling. Still ok but won’t be coming back.

Overall we were disappointed in the food. Sushi quality was subpar. Rice seemed old and stale making the rolls fall apart. Atmosphere was great and service was very good.
Poor service. We were just asking the food on the menu. Apparently the staff isn’t in a good mood. Should stay home have a rest. Not making sense we pay and catch his anger.
