We had a fantastic experience at Communitea Café during recent trip to Banff / Canmore! We always lookout for places that offer tasty, plant-based options — and this café was a great find. We had bowls, sandwich, soup of the day and coffee. We liked the food, and the atmosphere is warm, and welcoming.
The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed — a nice spot for a late morning meal. Service was pleasant and the staff were friendly and attentive.
The food was just okay overall. Nothing particularly memorable or unique. One downside was the sourdough bread — it was really hard. Biting into it actually hurt my gums, which definitely took away from the experience.

Have visited several times when in Canmore. Convenient location with street parking. Food is vegetarian and plant based. Love the vibe. Place is bright and clean. Order at the counter and they bring your food to you. Lots of tasty options but love the grilled cheese and soup combo. Tasty popcorn on the side. Takeout available. Worth stopping in.
