The food is so delicious, ask to sit outside for a wonderful experience. They have apple strudel which is very authentic! Highly recommended!

This place knows what they’re doing.

Food is exceptional, I got the lamb shank and it was tender. The mash and carrots were great too on their own but pair it all together with that cabbage (that has a cinnamon flavour) and it was lovely.

I also got a fruity vodka drink. Can’t quite remember the name but that was lovely also.

Great atmosphere, service and food. Will be back if visiting the area again

If you're looking for German food go somewhere else.
Extremely greasy meals .
My advise to you, go somewhere and learn how to make authentic German foods. There are lots of videos on You tube, take a look, learn how to cook. ,For a small charge I could teach you.

Goulash included amazing spices, flavors and generous portions of roasted pork, the side salad was equally impressive and included a small scoop of the German potato salad with the greens on the side, which I appreciated, service excellent

I've been the world over for schnitzel, and given the name of the restaurant I had high hopes. Sadly the schnitzel was extremely poor. Thick and poorly breaded, the breading also
had a very strong strange taste... Sort of like cabbage but generally unpleasant. The fries were good, it came with a large salad that was ok. Service was friendly and the outside patio was nice, but sadly the meal was nowhere close to authentic. Other dishes seemed better done but I would avoid the schnitzel.
Had the goulash soup as appetizer, it was well seasoned and good (note that it uses pork not beef), and good portion size.

Wonderful location and staff! The braised lamb was to die for, and the schnitzel was also excellent! This was a great quality but casual dinner option after a long day of driving and hiking.

It was a hot June evening last year, we'd just been exploring Moraine Lake and Lake Louise and we were famished. We thought we'd book a table here and we managed to sit outside in the Canadian sunshine. Auley was our server and he was such a lovely guy, he was super friendly and very helpful with both food menu and drinks. Thanks to Auley I had the pleasure of trying some Canadian gins I never tried before! Would definitely be back!

This is some of the best schnitzel I've had in my life. The flavorful sauces, generous portion sizes, and great atmosphere made this meal wonderful.

I got the fluffy and filling pretzel for an appetizer, then for the main I had the parmeasan herb schnitzel with spaetzle. It was all delicious.

Eating at Das Schnitzelhaus took me back to my trips to Germany. They serve a variety of traditional German foods ranging from sauerkraut to schnitzel, apple strudel and more. We got the Parmesan Herb Schnitzel and The Big Sampler. The schnitzel had a flavorful breading that provided a nice crunchy texture to the veal, and the sauce took the flavor to the next level. The spätzle was okay... it needed a little more salt and had too much butter. The Big Sampler did not disappoint and offered a taste of everything. They ran out of pork chop late in the evening, so it was replaced with a pork hock. The sauerkraut, cabbage, and mustards paired nicely with the sausage and pork hock, offering a sweet and tangy break to my palette. The pork hock was tender and fell right off the bone. And while this is the least exciting thing on the plate, the fries were still made to perfection!

Service was excellent and accommodating to dietary restrictions, and the outdoor ambience offered a beautiful view of the charming town and surrounding mountains.

Pleasantly surprised, we went for lunch; we ordered the brisket sandwich with potato salad. It came with a side salad, very fresh, lots of textures and flavors that stood out. The portion of meat in the sandwich, very soft, tasty and abundant. The service was very good, pleasant and outstanding to deliver a good experience. I recommend it and I would love to come back at dinner time.

Like a lot of experiences nowadays, servers can make the visit amazing.

We felt that the server was unpleasant, we didn't engage her much.

The restaurant included a service charge for a party of 3.

Guess we got unlucky.
