I’ve been visiting Eclipse Coffee regularly throughout the summer, and I’d like to share an honest review of my experience.
Pros: The staff is always friendly and professional, and they do a great job maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The overall atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, which is a big reason why I continue to return.
Cons: One consistent issue I’ve encountered is the quality of the internet connection. It frequently drops or slows down, which can be quite frustrating—especially if you’re trying to get work done or need reliable internet access. Heck, I get better connectivity at places like Tim Hortons and A&W.
Another concern is the quality of the to-go cups. On multiple occasions, the cups have leaked, and there’s sometimes a noticeable plastic taste. (See attached photo.)
For me it’s a 3/5 stars.

A perfect coffee spot with a calm and peaceful atmosphere. The pour-over is absolutely outstanding — one of the best I’ve ever had. The croissants are fresh, flaky, and delicious. Great service and a cozy vibe. Highly recommended! ☕🥐

Had a delicious latte here! We were just passing through on our way out of town, but would’ve loved to hang out and relax in the shop while enjoying the coffee. Got pastries from the shop next door afterwards which were also great!

The staff are all very welcoming and friendly, and we enjoyed everything we ordered!
The lavender latte (we tried them with almond and oat milks) has a smooth, subtle taste, similar to a regular latte but with a hint of lavender that balances out the bitterness of the espresso. It is not sweet, perfect for those who want something more than a latte but don’t enjoy sweet drinks.
All of the treats tasted like they were made with care. The salted caramel espresso bar was definitely on the saltier side, which I appreciated as I don’t like treats that are too rich and sweet. The banana toffee pie was light and flavourful, and all the different parts of the dessert complimented each other well. We also tried the cranberry oat cookie (not pictured), which was a very well-made and delicious oat cookie!
The interior is very large and cozy as well. I highly recommend checking out this cafe!

We ordered coffee and sat down with our cat in the carrier and they suddenly told us they don’t allow pets inside the cafe. CLEARLY state in front of your store that you are NOT PET FRIENDLY so we don’t support your business!
The coffee was great. The building is very nice with plenty of seating. Customer service and atmosphere are also welcoming. Very quick as well!

It is not the first time for me to evaluate Eclipse coffee, but I would like to emphasize how this coffee is really good. The presence of the big coffee machine in the place, explains for you why it is fresh and delicious. The coffee has multiple corners to set, relax and enjoy the coffee. The snacks also are great with multiple choices. The staff as usual, friendly and very active. One of the best coffees ever.
