We were traveling to this area and sitting down awaiting for ordering our dinner. One of our older family members needed a cup and chopsticks for her medicine before her meal. A waitress wasn’t happy to be asked for an extra favor and told us to wait for her. Being kind, respectful and helpful are the basic qualities of serving people. She has none of those qualities. I wouldn’t pay a dime for this type service and I would not recommend you to go to this restaurant. I couldn’t give zero star.

We took out from here on our vacation in the Canadian Rockies last night and liked it so much we actually ate in the restaurant tonight. Food is great prices very fair and nice eating place off the beaten path a few blocks from downtown Canmore

Waited 25 minutes to get table. Sat another 25 minutes waiting for a baby high chair and no one bothered take our order. Poor poor service. We walked out and they finally noticed us. Now we know what makes them famous.

I recently dined at Famous Chinese Restaurant, and I must say, it was an incredible experience! The food was nothing short of awesome. We ordered the shrimp fried rice, sweet and sour pork, and the famous spicy beef Szechuan. Each dish was bursting with flavor and absolutely mouthwatering.
The service was impressively fast and top-notch, making our visit even more enjoyable. They truly did not disappoint my cravings for authentic Chinese food. If you're in Canmore, this restaurant is a must-try! I can’t wait to come back for more delicious dishes. Highly recommended!

Good experience in general, we showed up late in the night almost closing to have a meal after our long drive and they were able to accommodate us.
Food came out with in 15 minutes of us ordering which gave us enough time to eat before they closed.
Their portions are large, so 1 order of rice can be split between 3 people.
Though we are trying to be as quick as we were still rushed to pay as they were closing.

Easily the best Chinese food I've ever had. My wife grew up in Canmore and told me about this amazing restaurant that sadly had the owner retire, so they closed up shop. When we heard they reopened at a new location, we had to go. My expectations were sky high, and they were exceeded. Try the ginger beef. We had their Dinner For 3, and all of it was delicious.
