Seemed to be quiet for a Friday night which should have been our cue to find somewhere else for dinner… Soon realized the front of house was horribly understaffed with one employee seating tables, taking orders, and working the bar at the same time. She seemed both overwhelmed and apathetic somehow as she mixed up my drink order (though she was fairly quick to correct it, it was frustrating for me that it was wrong in the first place, as I had to repeat my drink order several times while she was initially taking our orders, and you’d think she would have heard me correctly one of the five times I said it, but apparently not!) and later she did not notice that the kitchen had given my partner the wrong side with her order as well (regular fries instead of upgraded truffle fries with a burger that was tasty but with a clearly store-bought patty - it should have been obvious as I had also ordered truffle fries and mine looked markedly different from the regular ones). When we pointed the second issue out to her, she blamed it on the kitchen and said she would “discount it” from our bill, which we later found out just meant making sure my partner wasn’t charged for the upgrade she hadn’t received, not an actual price reduction on the dish. Which was fine and dandy, but the explanation of what she would be doing with our bill in that regard was poorly phrased and had us expecting something different. The fries (both truffle and regular) were also pretty greasy and service was slow due to the obvious under-staffing. Overall disappointing, we won’t be trying this place again no matter how enticing the burgers look on the menu.

been here many times...they used to have an amazing perogie plate with beautiful presentation. Ordered it a few days ago, only enough sour cream to wet your tongue, probably 1/4 peice of bacon if that, NO presentation whatsoever and, overcooked. You can't overcook perogies, they're supposed to squish in your mouth...not crunch like tortilla chips. Why mess with a good thing?

Went for a drink and a bite to eat while in town for the afternoon and it was quite disappointing. The beers were flat, and the food was very underwhelming, frozen, or raw. The burgers are obviously frozen store-bought patties with burnt buns and were very awkward, and the fish and chips had raw fish and raw batter. The server quickly took my fish away making me think it’s not the first time this has happened. The “garlic bread” was store bought bread (think dempsters) that was a surprising contrast served with the $26 bison ravioli. Definitely would not recommend this place even for a humble meal, we were never expecting something fancy but this was a disappointment. They also didn't take my raw fish off my bill. Instead they refired and gave me an overcooked fillet that was 90% batter. Very disappointing

Phuking fenomenal place! From the moment we arrived we were immediately greeted and asked where we wanted to sit. We sat outside to enjoy the balmy weather. Camila, our hostess, was very friendly and attentive. The food was very good. Hot, fresh and appetizing!

Loved the opportunity to try local fare - I had an amazing elk burger and boyfriend got mushroom ravioli, both were incredible. Located in center of town so have to park in one of the main lots and walk to it.

Sat outside, nice area, lots of dogs! They even brought a water bowl over!! There was 6 of us and someone tried the Elk burger- after 2 bites she didn't want to eat anymore. It was gamey? i ordered the vegie burger but it was so dry I asked for a sauce if some kind. They suggested two and I said sure. When the bill came they charged me for the sauces (without asking me if I still wanted them if they cost?) didn't improve the burger. Overall it was just ok. We’re trying other places.
