We were in Canmore for 48 hours and went to JK’s three times. As a vegetarian I appreciated the veggie options (hello protein tomato and lentil soup!). The bread was AMAZING. I had the ciabatta egg salad, quiche, and pretzel baguette and all were amazing. I haven’t stopped thinking of that pretzel baguette….
Bought 4 meat pies, loaf of bread, an anssor of cookies and 2 macaroons for ~ 60 bucks. Pies were a bit dry but a variety of baked goods to choose from.

Bought cupcakes for an event, they were pretty multicolored, but the website said they would have buttercream frosting. If there was butter in the frosting it was cut with too much lard to notice. The cake tasted fine but was very dense. At $3.50 each I was expecting better quality.

Cinnamon roll was nice and fluffy. Quiche tasted good but they just microwaved it which ruins the texture. If you're looking for decaf, look elsewhere they don't have any.

I ordered a birthday cake online for my son (with only one days notice) who is away from home and it needed to be delivered to his place of business in Banff. I was super impressed when I saw that I could even add a personalized birthday card! The process was extremely quick and easy, not to mention I heard the cake was delicious! Being able to accomplish this from Ottawa made this Momma very happy ♥️

Ordered a veg sandwich and an egg sandwich at JK Bakery. Overall, the server was helpful in understanding our needs. The veg sandwich turned out pretty well and was delicious. However, the egg sandwich was a little overwhelming and difficult to eat, or I would say soggy. The server just overdid the filling. Taste-wise, it was good, but overall it was messy to eat.
The place offers free parking and is wheelchair-friendly. It’s a cozy spot to sit, relax, and enjoy your coffee.

I was really surprised, it was $7.50 for a breakfast sandwich, when I got it I could tell that it was microwaved... I would have expect to something like that at a 7-eleven. Would not recommend. They ask for tip, which makes the total of the microwaved sandwich 8.63...
The baked goods I've had have been delicious, I especially love the Carrot Muffin & Austrian Apple Struedel.I find that the service can be hit or miss, I have had incredibly friendly service (yesterday morning) or been treated as if I'm bothering the person.
