I visited this restaurant and was not impressed by the service. While it was clearly busy and possibly short-staffed, I felt ignored and unwelcome upon arrival. No one acknowledged me at the door. Even a brief smile or greeting would have gone a long way. After a awkward wait, a waitress finally acknowledged me. I understand peak hours can be challenging, but first impressions matter.

While the Bao Bun of the week and Filipino Crispy Calamari were decent, the Kung Pao Stir Fried Vegetables (not pictured) were terrible. Tasted like wet, sloppy vegetables with no flavour, would not recommend at all! Service was good but not worth price point at all being around $35/pp for 2 people. Shame, wanted to like this place.

We were a party of 10. Seemed like there was only one person serving, bartending and hostessing. She did well enough for the many hats she was wearing. Food was good. Very interesting. I had the ahi tuna with quinoa (delicious and beautifully arranged)! Matched the drink I ordered 🙂

Ordered their fries there. It said the fries had scallops on the menu. We could only see potato fries and vegetables. Their coffee and the service was good though.

I was reading good reviews about this place so we came here to try. We ordered several dishes from the menu but Adobo Bao Buns is still on my mind. A little bit pricey like what you should expect dining in Bow Valley but the creativity that was added makes it very worthy.

We’ve been to this restaurant a few times over the years, and I clearly remember how much we enjoyed our first visit when it opened. The food was great, and the service was excellent back then.
But now, it feels like the place is struggling to really land its identity. The concept is Asian fusion street food, and while the menu reflects that, the overall vibe feels a bit off. It’s hard to tell what kind of experience they’re aiming for.
Service was the biggest letdown this time. We sat on the patio and barely saw our server. That kind of lack of attention makes it hard to relax and enjoy the meal. Definitely not a spot I’d recommend for a romantic dinner.
As for the food, my partner had the pork belly with the green gram stew. He really enjoyed the stew, but found the pork belly a bit dry. I had the queso fondido burger. It was a decent burger, nothing to write home about. The fries were good, as usual.
Prices seemed fair overall.
So yeah. We ate well, but nothing wowed us. I’d say it’s a 3.5 kind of experience. Not bad at all, but not memorable either.

One of the best foods we've ever had! We were so pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. Let's just say we cleaned all the plates. Their portions are just right or bigger than what you expect. The service was amazing and the waiter was welcoming. Make this one of your stops at canmore. Sarap naman!!!
