Kake by Darci - Studio

Darci created a cake that was both stunning and absolutely delicious. The design was exactly what we had envisioned, and our guests are still talking about how amazing it tasted. I had originally planned to make my own cake, so I was very particular about who I would trust for this challenge — and Darci completely overdelivered. She made the most beautiful and delicious wedding cake I could have ever asked for. Leading up to the day, it was the part of the reception I was most looking forward to, and it exceeded every expectation. I even ate cake on the dance floor and was in heaven! The star of the show was the lemon cake with lavender buttercream — chef’s kiss!

We had our wedding this past weekend and had our cake delivered by Kake by Darci! It was the exact cake we had envisioned, and all of our guests couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the cake tasted. The team made the whole ordering and delivery process extremely easy!!

We sadly did not get to meet or connect with the owner ourselves as communication was done through our wedding planner. However his recommendation was perfect! Our cupcakes were BEAUTIFUL! I truly appreciated the advice on icing colours to avoid staining of clothing with messy kids. Tasted wonderful! If there was a brick and mortar in Canmore I would visit every time were are in the area! Thanks again!

Our wedding cake by Darci was absolutely beautiful and even more delicious! The ordering process is very crisp and the team was readily available to answer questions. Only regret is not finding a way to ship the leftovers home where we left for our honeymoon right after.

Darci crafted our gorgeous four-tier wedding cake & we couldn’t have been happier with the end result. The cake was an absolute showstopper, but even more important, was absolutely delicious. Darci made our wedding cake and it was delicious and beautiful! Wedding cakes usually look good but don’t taste very good, not this one! Working and coordinating with Darci and team was also very smooth and easy. Would highly recommend them for any cakes in the Canmore area!

Ordered a birthday cake for my husband while we celebrated in Banff -OH. MY. GOODNESS! We had the cinnamon brown sugar cake with the salted caramel icing. So delicious! Darci made the cake look masculine with the colour of the top fan/sail and birthday sign and it was the prefect addition to his birthday in the mountains!! Ive also stopped in on her flash Friday sales and the S’mores cookies are the best sandwich cookie I’ve ever had. Often times Ive even though about skipping out on Friday morning work to make the drive to Canmore for the flash sales for the cookies or the brown butter rice crispy treats! Easy order process and the staff was a delight to deal with. 🙌🏻🤩🤤

Darci did an amazing job with our cake and cupcakes! We didn’t have a specific design in mind, but gave her some photos of things we liked based on her previous cakes. She incorporated all our ideas into the most beautiful cake. We left cake decorations at the venue for the cake drop off and she added them perfectly to our cake.
The flavours were all amazing. We ordered a 6 inch round cake (coffee with vanilla Bourbon Buttercream - absolutely amazing) and 4 dozen cupcakes (same as the cake, chocolate with salted caramel buttercream, and vanilla with raspberry buttercream). Our guests' favourite was the chocolate salted caramel. The amount was perfect for our group of 40, with some delicious leftovers.

An easy recommendation for us. We ordered our wedding cake, macarons, and a birthday cake for our wedding and did Kake by Darci DELIVER! They were all so delicious and came just as we had hoped and dreamed! Everyone at our wedding absolutely loved the macarons - salted caramel seemed to be the biggest hit with a surprise middle! If you’re looking for a cake for your wedding or whatever the occasion may be, this is the place. The staff was lovely to work with and super helpful for making recommendations and responding to emails in a timely manner. Cannot rave enough about them!

We had an excellent experience with Darci! Our wedding cake could not have turned out better! One layer was earl grey cake with lavender buttercream frosting, and the other was lemon cake with cream cheese buttercream frosting. Both were incredible! She also made our vision of the exterior of the cake come to life beautifully! All around amazing place! Thoroughly pleased!

Cake was gorgeous and delicious!! Great experience overall- 10/10 recommend.
