Was in last week with Alaina and we had a delicious dinner. It was nice to be back at this cozy corner bar with ice cold beer, decent wine and very delicious food. Always great service at the Mineshart Tavern!

Not sure if this is a legitimate restaurant or a retirement home cafeteria for elderly people.
No greeter met us. Sat down at an open table for 10 minutes. No staff came by with a menu while we sat. Exceedingly geriatric patrons at other tables drinking alcohol but few tables had food. Decided to leave after observing the unusually geriatric vibe, lack of staff or normal cues that are associated with an eating establishment. Food - N/R Service and atmosphere - 0/5

My husband and I visited the Mineshaft Tavern several times during our two-week stay in Canmore, and we were impressed every single time. The food was consistently fantastic—especially their Mineshaft burgers, which quickly became our favorite. Great atmosphere, great service, and absolutely delicious food. Highly recommend!

Food was decent, specials are decently priced. But service was great. We came with kids and Nicole was great with my kids. She was the only server working and was able to serve all the tables (about 6 tables). Will be back.

We read the reviews but figured we try it. The food was horrible and yes the residence come into the restaurant section and since many are hard if hearing they are shouting to talk to each other so the atmosphere is just as bad as the food
