My daughter’s wedding reception was held there. Basma was absolutely amazing with her organizational skills and assistance with the planning. She made certain everything was perfect. All of the food choices were fantastic. The service was perfect. The setting is intimate, beautiful and peaceful. All of our guests were amazed with the atmosphere. We highly recommend this venue.

I would like to give a 4 ..... But. We held a family wedding, in a private dining area. The service and food were top of the line.
The surprise came when the 'mens' did NOT have an infant's change table. That is serious, and true we dealt.

We had a family dinner yesterday evening and had a wonderful experience. The pizzas are delicious and they went out of their way to ensure the dietary restrictions were met. Our server Gaston was of the best quality. He ensured everyone had everything correctly, was polite/friendly and funny. He read the room nicely and ensured our experience was perfect.

The beef short rib with creamy mashed potatoes was delicious, with rich flavors. The Wagyu beef burger was outstanding, juicy, perfectly cooked, and paired with golden fries.
On top of the amazing food, the views were absolutely stunning, making this easily the best dinner we’ve had in Canmore.

We recently hosted our wedding reception at Murrieta’s in the private dining room. The team, particularly Basma, were incredibly helpful with the pre-planning, ensuring things on the day went off without a hitch. The food was incredible and the team were welcoming and accommodating to the young children in attendance.

The ambiance was warm and inviting, with tasteful decor and a cozy atmosphere.

My friends’ wedding reception was held here and it was such a wonderful experience! The place itself is beautiful and has such a nice atmosphere. The food was delicious, I especially loved the steak. What really stood out to me was the service. The owner (I believe she was the owner) was very hands-on and welcoming, and the servers were all so kind and attentive. At one point, the soup was a little too spicy for me, and they immediately offered to bring me a salad instead, which I really appreciated. They made sure that everyone was enjoying their meals throughout the night.
Overall, both the food and the service were excellent, and I would definitely recommend this place!

Omg! Whatever you do get whatever with the mashed potatoes and gravy..

Great experience. Came with parents and siblings and ordered Calamari and shrimp tempura starters, then the prosciutto pizza, chorizo pizza, scallop fettuccine, pork chop, and lamp meatball spaghetti. Everything was delicious. Props to the chefs.

Dining room with a mountain view? Yes, please! The food was delicious, our server was attentive but not overbearing, and I was able to make substitutions for my veggies. Try the brussel sprouts. They are fantastic. Very reasonably priced as well, for a nice dinner out. We shared an appetizer, a bottle of good wine, and had steak for dinner. We made a reservation, so no wait.

Honestly, for such an expensive restaurant, the food feels cheap. There aren’t many options, and the prices are absurd for what you receive. I have been there twice now. I ordered the Lamb Meatball Spaghetti the first time, and to my Italian disappointment, there was nothing special about it. They didn’t even offer Parmesan cheese for it either. The service was good then, so we thought to return a month later. The second time, I ordered the Wagyu Beef Burger, which just lacked flavor and sauce. The good service wasn’t able to make up for the poor food this time, either, seeing as we had to wait far too long just to order drinks, let alone our food. The music was loud to the point that it was hard to hear my father, who was sitting next to me. Don’t get me started on the desserts as well. We tried three different ones: Earl Grey Chocolate Cake, Peanut Butter & Jelly Mousse, and the Apricot Mascarpone Cheesecake. The chocolate cake was dry, the PB&J Moose was spongy and tasteless until you had the jam (which was just a disappointing flavor altogether.) The only positive thing I can say about this restaurant is the fact the Cheesecake was delicious. Despite all those points, the main reason why I am writing this review is to warn about how unsanitary it is. I had to witness a waiter clean the table with the same cloth he used to clean the chairs that people had previously sat on. And as this was happening, the waiter serving my table placed spoons directly onto the table with nothing protecting the silver from touching the wood. Disgusting.

TDLR: The food lacks flavor, it is overly expensive, the music is too loud, and the waiters clean the tables with the same cloth that cleans the dirty chairs people previously sat on.
