Murrieta's Mountain Bar & Grill

Dropped by Murrieta's for happy hour and was surprised to see a near-empty restaurant. Summer tourism has just begun, but I'd highly recommend Murrieta's for a happy hour stop at the least. They have a lot of great $10 deals and a $15 deal on pizzas. We got the lamb meatballs, brussel sprouts, and prosciutto pizza.

It took ~15 minutes for all the food to come out. The lamb meatballs were tender and juicy and came with a slightly spicy tomato sauce. The pizza had a fair amount of mushrooms and prosciutto, and I liked the added kick from the pepperoncini. My favorite dish was the brussel sprouts, which had a sweet and crunchy exterior and toasted almonds.

Just had a wonderful experience with bringing my clients from The Italian Delegation from the G7 to this legendary Restaurant in Canmore . Basma and her team did not disappoint this VIP delegation, greeting us upon arrival and serving a cornucopia of delicious food and wine , My clients were so impressed with the hospitality, food and experience that they are returning again soon . My recommendation of Murriettas Canmore was the best impression I could have made for my VIP Guests. Cheers

Warm, welcoming service, and the food was bomb.

Came for happy hour, and was pleasantly surprised! $7 sangrias, $15 pizzas, and the maple Brussels sprouts were to die for!

Had amazing service here Friday night. Jessy was at our table as necessary to see to our every need.

Food and wine was good.

Had an amazing view of the mountains out the open window while we ate and drank.

Great spot.

Locals to Banff decided to have an evening out in Canmore.

We’ve never had an evening out in Canmore, however Murrieta’s has enlightened our lives! The service, food and overall atmosphere of the venue was absolutely exquisite!

The most devine evening meal I’ve had in a while, I would strongly recommend to anyone visiting Canmore, I can’t wait to visit again and enjoy the most enjoyable dining experience!

Pork was remarkable!

Overall, it was a pretty good time. No complaints. Had blackened salmon.
Calamari was ok. Wife Short ribs was a bit dry but tasty.

My wife and I came for supper, before her deployment with the CAF. Basma and her staff were amazing, and so was the food! The best tenderloin and lamb we have ever had. Basma even went out of her way to provide us with Prosecco and a dessert. Thank you again!

If I were to sum up the upscale great looking restaurant in one word it would be awful. Do not recommend.

Great place for lunch and I am sure sinner is awesome also. They have some awesome tables overlooking mainstreet. Staff was great and very helpful. Corn chowder and Charcuterie board definitely hit the spot for two of us. Great selection of beer also. Worth the stop.
