I usually enjoy going to the Old School Bus but today that was not the case. My brother and I got two single scoops of ice cream. The sign said five dollars each so it should have been 10 dollars but I was charged 12 dollars, meaning I was either overcharged or they need to update their sign. The girl that took our order was very rude. She didn’t smile, talked very little and had no manners. She spun around the thing to tap the card, said “12dollars” and immediately stood up and walked away. I felt like I was an annoyance to her. She also messed up my brothers flavour which is not a big deal and it’s a simple mistake but it makes the whole situation more frustrating. I did not voice my feelings with the girl that served me because I did not feel comfortable talking to her. Getting ice cream should be a quick and pleasant experience, as it’s a way for many to treat themselves. My experience today was certainly not a treat.

If you are in Canmore, a must try. Very good ice cream retailer with good selection of flavours and very friendly service. Can get very busy. Shaved ice, sugar free options, milkshakes. Recommended A****
