Everything about this pizza is basic. Basic dough. Basic crust. Basic sauce. Basic cheese. Meat toppings do skew slightly towards higher end meats, but not nearly enough to justify the price point of Panago. This chain represents itself and prices itself amongst the highest end of pizza chains, yet it is firmly entrenched as a mediocre middle of the road pizza. I needn’t return to a Panago as I can enjoy a much higher quality, better tasting and lower priced pizza from Dominos or a handful of other chains. Basic, middle-ground pizza to a T!

While traveling through Canmore, we stumbled upon Panago Pizza and decided to give it a try. We ordered the Chipotle Chicken pizza, which comes with a chipotle cilantro sauce, grilled chicken, fire-roasted corn, red onions, red peppers, and a blend of mozzarella and cheddar.
Let me tell you, the pizza not only looked fantastic but tasted incredible! The flavors were perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of cheese, and the toppings were fresh and full of flavor. Pizza was great and store was super clean— even behind the dough roller machine. They have plenty of vegan options, so I had a lot to choose from. Loved the plant based spicy Hawaiian. Best part about this place— the dipping sauces are delicious and SO many are vegan. All vegan options are marked on the menu which was nice. This place is mostly to go but they have a few chairs. Parking is easy to find. The impossible nuggets are exactly what they sound like and were good. I thought they would be vegan chicken wings but I didn’t read the menu close enough. They were vegan chicken nuggets with really tasty BBQ sauce and some seasoning on it. Staff were kind. We have left overs and really enjoyed it. If you’re from the US, It’s similar to MOD but with way better vegan options.
Vegetarian options: Roughly a dozen vegan options.

They have a plant lovers bundle which is vegan cheesy bread and impossible nuggets. Each one comes with a dipping sauce and there are several vegan sauces. You can also make a pizza with vegan cheese. I asked about the apple pie and was told it was vegan, although not labeled as such on website, but if you read the fine print it does say the crust is plant based. It’s an entire apple pie, not just 1 slice.
