Visited with my wife yesterday morning and had a fantastic breakfast. Unfortunately, when we visited for dinner tonight the food was very disappointing. My wife’s pasta seemed to have had a can of coconut milk dumped on top of it, with no other flavour. my pasta was supposed to have prawns, but I ended up with a few tiny shrimp that seemed to be boiled.
The staff was great, but the new dinner menu needs work.

We went for a diner and a breakfast as we were staying in the hotel. Both times it was nice. Good value for money. Staff was friendly. The day of the breakfast there was construction work going on in the morning which was not ideal noise wise.

Thank you for being so accommodating for our big party and setting up a gorgeous table! BEAUTIFUL interior, very delish drinks and main courses! A great location for any wedding event, but would have loved more attentive servers but beside that 10/10 for food/drinks/location and ambiance!! THANK YOU Rhythm and Howl team 🐺Also the short ribs and carbonara were INCREDIBLE!! Our favorite drinks were the Pom Doggity and the HibiscusKiss

Absolutely not tasty. The burger patty was very overcooked, dry and not tasty. Bacon was like a salty plastic, and The onions were just slightly toasted, not caramelized. Breakfast was super over salted.
But the same time my wife loved everything what she was eating
I can’t recommend this restaurant. I’m leaving in this hotel, but looking for another restaurant

We really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, there were too many issues that made the two dining experiences we had frustrating (dinner and breakfast).
First, walking into a restaurant at 8 AM and being greeted by uncensored, explicit rap music was jarring and honestly inappropriate for the time and setting. It set a strange tone for the morning. Also, if you’re going to play music over speakers, a business-level Spotify account would go a long way—frequent ad interruptions made the atmosphere feel unprofessional.
The service was extremely slow, even though it wasn’t particularly busy. Staff (manager included) seemed friendly but lacked basic knowledge of the simple menu, and we had to wait unusual amounts of time for basic items. Having to flag someone down to get their attention just to get a refill of water on multiple occasions made me with the staff was more attentive of their guests. All of the above is not what we were expecting from a restaurant aiming to be polished.
To cap it all off, there was a “food” surcharge on the receipt that couldn’t be explained by the waiter but was left on, nonetheless.
The advertising was great but both experiences were let downs. There’s potential here, but the execution really needs work.

Recently celebrated as part of a wedding party here, the food was 10/10 and our servers were excellent. Would definitely return and would urge those visiting Canmore to make the trip across the highway to check it out! (If you’re not staying on this side of town, the hotel is great too!)
