Today was the first day of our seven day trip in Canmore! With me is my delightful fluffy Havanese named Greta Garbo and she loved her chicken breast and the server. Katie was wonderful.!
Waited 2 hours for service, and the food wasn't cooked. Heard good things but i think this is just a canmore legend.
The food was plain and tasteless. I ordered the fried chicken burger and was shocked that it had zero flavor. Other people that I was with mentioned that their food was tasteless as well.
I went with friends just for wings and a beer. The place was half empty. The food was decent, but the service wasn't the best. I have to repeat my order twice and still didn't get the right wings flavour. The prices are the average of Canmore, about $15 for a wings order
The patio was lovely—clean, spacious, and dog-friendly, which we really appreciated. It’s a great spot to relax after a hike. However, the food was pretty mediocre; nothing really stood out, and the drinks were underwhelming. For the quality, the prices felt a bit too high. Not a bad place overall, but not one I’d go out of my way for.
Nice spot in Canmore for a pint with the locals.
Definitely the place we were looking for after a day of hiking. Great patio atmosphere. Servers were all positive. Didn’t get the name of our server - but apparently only her third shift. Couldn’t tell, she was on top of things the whole time! Just need more servers for summer, I think. We will be back and highly recommend!
Best service, view and prices in town. Many of the other restaurants are located on the main street and face each other. This pub has a brilliant open view of the mountains from the patio. I had the fish and chips and it was a big portion. It was on the salty side for me, but still delicious. Bonus is the patio is dog friendly. Super bonus was our server Kristen was absolutely STELLAR. She provided lots of great routes around Canmore where I could really explore with my dog. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience for our first time in Canmore. We'll be back. 😊
The shepherd's pie was one of the best I've ever had.
Not a great experience. I was in town viewing an apartment and felt like I was treated poorly.
I'm in the service industry myself, so I get how it works. I arrived at around 3 PM and sat in the bar. The heavy-set bartender wearing a kilt essentially ignored me and could not be bothered to engage with me at all.
I ordered a drink and had a menu, and sat for nearly an hour until I was offered another and had to ASK if I could order food.
Not an overly welcoming experience to Canmore.

A great pub with great food. Mac and Cheese Burger....yum! The only disappointment was the coleslaw. Next time I'd like to play Tuesday Night Trivia Night.

My boyfriend's food was good, but mine I didn't care for the flavors but the food was cooked just right and the presentation was nice.

I was passing through Calgary during my vacation and I wanted to eat at this place, food with regular flavor, drinks with soap flavor (Apparently the glasses were dirty), it was not to my liking but I managed to feed myself that day
