Fantastic dinner. The calamari was cooked perfectly, and was some of the best we’ve ever had. The mussels were also great and seasoned well. A must try spot, considering it’s such a rustic and warm atmosphere.

An amazing dining experience. The food was impeccable, especially the mussels! We also had the charcuterie board which was incredible. Everything was so specifically curated and delicious. Awesome wine list too. Will always enjoy dining at Sage!

This was our third time visiting Sage Bistro. Food was impeccable as always. Our waitress seemed to be a bit stressed about business but she did her best. We will continue to visit this restaurant when we visit. The beet root salad is one of my favorites. My husband loves the lamb. The steak was tender and cooked perfectly. The Creme Bruele is to die for.
Kid-friendliness: We did not feel any judgement for bringing our infant out for a nice dinner as a family.

The food and service were excellent! We came in on a busy weekend with no reservation, and they squeezed us in. Our servers were so nice, and there are delicious gluten free options! They accommodated my needs as a celiac wonderfully! The lamb is particularly delicious! Thank you for a wonderful date night dinner!

Absolutely need to try out!! Had unique teas served in french press infusers, followed with some of the best risotto I’ve tried. The burger was so juicy and had a high quality gluten-free bun, and cane with the best fingerling potatoes I’ve had. Finished with a decadent flourless chocolate pavé with many different flavor and texture combinations for many different experiences. And all was 25% off for haply hour 2-5pm!!

This place is such a hidden gem, and the best spot to avoid all the crowds and lines in downtown. The food is incredible. Thoughtfully curated and locally focused with incredible presentation and remarkable service. The Yorkshire pudding was to DIE for, as well as the seasonal squash soup. This will be my new go-to when stopping in Canmore. Also the afternoon happy hour has 25% everything from 2-5pm which is such a great deal too. Don’t miss this great spot!
