Can I leave a zero? Sooooo disappointed! The waitress was terrible - she absolutely didn't want to be there and you could tell. She wasn't helpful in the slightest. We needed a table in the shade. She wouldn't help us find one, she wouldn't help us move the umbrellas, she made light of it when we asked if the table we chose was going to be in the sun as it moved across the patio. The food was disgusting - hope one of our party doesn't end up with food poisoning - she had the lettuce wraps and the shrimp filling was slimy. My yorkie beef was dry and tasteless. Runny gravy! Paid $57 plus tip...worst ever.

We came on Fish and Chip night and the food was fantastic, the fish was fresh and crispy with a perfect cook on the inside. Our server, Courtney, was friendly and helpful throughout the entire experience and had a comprehensive knowledge of the menu and how to guide us through our experience. Couldn’t recommend this place more. Will certainly be coming here again

This place is the real deal. By far the best fish and chips in town and the rest of the menu matches that same quality tenfold. Staff was knowledgeable and welcoming, with our server Courtney giving great recommendations as well as making us feel very taken care of. Furthermore the atmosphere makes you feel right at home, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Can’t recommend it more.

A little disappointed, I called a few days ago to book the thanks giving dinner was told they were full up (Sunday) but plenty of room today ( Monday ) and to call back Monday... I was insisting to make a reservation / pre book my take out order so I could be counted towards the preparation needed and was told told no it will be fine call back tomorrow. Anyways called first thing today just to be told they are full up for the day for dine in and take out. I'm not sure why the add said to call and place an order just to be told essentially no call day off.... Which lead to this
Food here is absolutely amazing and service is great hence why I will never rate this place less then 5/5 and highly recommend to any one from or visiting Canmore. Just feeling a little disappointed 😞.

Tasty food and a beautiful patio in the summer! This is a great place to have a meal post-golf or any other time you are in the Canmore area. Their patio overlooks the gold course and water and wasn't too busy when we were there. We enjoyed our meal immensely and service was friendly. Pictured are the cheddar burger, spicy burger, and steak sandwich.

Really bad overall experience.
Food was 2/5. Greasiest food I've had in a decade.
The fish and chips were barely edible, half the mussels we were served were closed, kids meals sub par. Fries were good though.
Service 2/5. Server kept forgetting one thing each trip. Not the end of the world. But I swear I saw and heard her talking about her tables to herself multiple times when she would walk away from them. God knows what she said about us that barely touched our food and complained about 11 of the 25 mussels being closed. She told us she had our bill ready well before we were done eating, as if to tell us we should leave. And when we did want to leave, took a long time to bring our bill.
All in all, nothing extreme. Just an overall bad experience from top to bottom. Other than the patio few being nice by the fountain and lake.

Really enjoyed the larger patio with the glass railing. New patio furniture and as always, great food and a large selection of drinks at a reasonable price. I'd say they have regained the crown for best patio in Canmore.

Daily specials are great, one of the best burgers in Canmore, it’s loaded and huge. Fish and chips A1 and great selection of beers available. The patio in the spring summer and fall is unbeatable and service is unsurpassed. Great spot for the best price in Canmore.

First of all, the food was pretty good. Prime rib, salad, Brussels sprouts and several of us had fish and chips. But the service made it an awful experience. Our server was a young woman. Very LOUD. Very intrusive. Very fakey. And the first time she referred to the two middle-aged women at our table as "lovey" our jaws dropped in shock. When she did it again and again, one of the women asked her to stop calling her that. The server didn't apologize or understand how offensive and triggering that term can be coming from a total stranger. She's not some adorable character from back home in the Maritimes. She's a young woman serving locals and tourists in Alberta. Do NOT be overly familiar with guests. And when someone asks you not to call them that, you do NOT justify it as "just the way I am, just the way I talk, that's how we are back home." NOPE. Your customer just set a solid boundary, and your server walked all over it in a very intrusive, triggering and offensive manner. Then she was clearing plates and nearly snatched one of our plates before we were done. When she came back with our take-out containers, she asked that guest if they were "still stealing the coleslaw"! Seriously unprofessional and unkind. Then she undermined the status of our guest of honour, whose birthday we were celebrating, by minimizing his professional international expertise. Just a terrible terrible experience in very poor, thoughtless, customer service. Ugh. No thanks. Get some serious training and don't make everything about you.
