I tried this place out of curiosity. I was craving idiyaappam and stew. I found this place in Uber eats. I ordered mutton roll, beef roti and idiyaappam and chicken gravy. The mutton roll and beef roti blew my mind. They were AMAZING! the idiyaappams were soft but I personally wasn't a fan of the Chicken curry since I'm not used to eating chicken curry without coconut milk. I really want to visit this place in person now.

Their lamprais is really tasty and comes in a good portion. Definitely worth trying—highly recommended!

We are from Lethbridge. We came for an appointment in Calgary and came early to eat at Taste of Sri Lanka. It was really difficult to find, and there was no signage you could see from the road. It ended up being in a pizza place, and online it said it was open, but it was closed. We wasted time and energy, and we were still hungry.

This was me and my friend's first time trying food from Sri Lanka and we enjoyed the food a lot! Overall, the food is quite affordable and the portions are reasonable. We ordered the Mutton Curry and it was one the best things I've had in a while. The curry looks small but it's all meat! The host was extremely friendly and helpful as he gave us some suggestions for what to order (and wasn't trying to rip us off) We even got a free sample side dish that went great with our roti!
The only thing is that my friend and I came in here really hungry and the wait time is slightly longer. We ordered a chicken roll, an egg roti, a plain roti, and mutton curry, and waited around 30-40 minutes. The atmosphere of the restaurant also makes you think it is a pizza place!
We highly suggest this place if you are patient to wait or order through uber eats.

The owner was super friendly and served us some great food. It’s a bit hard to find as it’s in the pizza place but the Kothu roti was amazing as were the mutton and chicken rolls.
We had chicken fried rice and seafood fried rice from this wonderful place.The food was very delicious. We really felt authentic Sri Lankan taste. The staff was very friendly. We highly recommend this place for anyone who loves Sri Lankan food.

I have bought lot of items from this restaurant multiple times and food is really good. Sri lankan Pol Roti, chicken fried rice, koththu, rice and curry and lamprais to name a few. Good portions as well. I always call them 30 mins before ordering so that by the time I get there, food is ready. Owner is a really nice guy who is always wearing a smile. I highly recommend this place for Sri Lankan food
