The Bankhead Restaurant And Lounge

While the taste of food items are ok, there are a few things that is quite undesirabe：
1. The hairy male server is wearing shorts only;
2. Ten of are sitting on a long table, but he stood at the end of the long table asking us to pass the cups of water instead of serving the water to us individually;
3. The fried crispy chip on both dishes of the $39 braised lamb was not crispy at all and can hardly be chewed. The server was made aware of it, but the replacement that the server promised never came.

We would not consider revisiting this restaurant again.

Good fusion food, and very nice service! We enjoyed the view of the mountains. Not too busy when we came in. Apparently our server is also a magician 😊🔥

We had surf and turf, the salmon dish, and dino noodles. Wow!! 👌 Everything was perfectly cooked. Amal our amazing server/bartender impressed us with some magic tricks and a great Old Fashioned. We had plans for another restaurant, we were so lucky to have a change of plans. The vibes were 100% on point for the evening.

Our Favorite Spot in the Alberta Rockies - Bankhead Restaurant is our go-to destination for both breakfast and dinner in the Alberta Rockies! After trying many places in Canmore and Banff, we can confidently say it’s the best.
The warm and inviting atmosphere makes for a delightful dining experience, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. We love how they focus on local ingredients, resulting in flavorful dishes that never disappoint.
We’ve visited multiple times and will keep coming back every time we’re in Alberta. If you're in the area, don’t miss out on this gem for breakfast lunch and dinner!

We think about this restaurant & the Alberta beef short rib an unhealthy amount. Best meal of our lives. Phenomenal service, the staff always go above & beyond. Refuse to eat anywhere or anything else in Canmore. We will be back.
