The food was pretty mediocre overall. The brisket came in flat leathery slabs and the ribs were hard to cut apart even with a knife, not even close to tender. The pulled pork was quite delicious though, definitely go for that. Sides were pretty much the standard fare. Can’t believe they managed to make brisket taste so bad though, it feels like sacrilege. Just don’t make brisket if you can’t give it respect?

To be completely honest, if we hadn't made plans to meet friends for dinner here, I don't know if we would have stayed. It looks a bit rougher than what we are accustomed to. There is a stage for live music, and a welcoming fireplace, which was a nice touch. It definitely has the "local bar" feel to it, which is normally not for us. That being said, NOT staying for dinner would have been such a mistake!

I went in for a quiet Sunday dinner, and was given nothing but exceptional service.
Our server was a lovely gentleman, very tall and I’d like it noted that he was super friendly, and knew lots about the place and what was on offer!
It appeared like it was his first shift, and he deserves to know he did exceptionally! His service really improved our experience!
