The Sensory Restaurant & Event Space

Sensory hosted my wedding this past weekend and it turned out better then I could have ever imagined. Brad and his staff did an incredible job in organizing everything to the point where no guests had to lift a finger. On top of that the food was hands down the best I have ever had in the Canmore/ Banff area. Although Terry was not there during the wedding he did a great job with communication leading up to everything.

We booked our August wedding at The Sensory, and we couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out. With about 45 guests, the layout worked perfectly—The Sensory transformed the smaller room into a dance floor, set up the patio for the bar and photo booth, and used the larger room for dinner. I loved having the spaces divided, as it gave our guests plenty of options to mingle, dance, or just relax.

All of our planning was done remotely since I live out of town, and working with Terry made the entire process so easy and stress-free. He was incredibly communicative, patient, and responsive to all my (many!) questions. I especially appreciated how beautifully they transformed the space, considering it’s usually a breakfast spot during the day.

Our guests are still raving about the food, the vibes, and the stunning mountain views The Sensory offers. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married in Canmore.

We recently hosted our wedding ceremony and reception at The Sensory and we were so glad we did. Terry and his team were so professional, and easy to work with. From the beginning, he was very helpful and supportive. He let us do a rehearsal the day before the wedding, and was there to answer any questions we had. The venue was set up beautifully, and the food was fantastic. The bar was fast and the drinks were delicious. It is the perfect spot for an intimate wedding in Canmore. I couldn't recommend it enough.

Our wedding was perfect here! We had such an amazing and stress free experience. When I was told that they would take care of everything, I didn't know what that exactly meant. With a type A personality, I still made additional plans and had a friend as my wedding runner to over see everything (as I didn't hire a wedding planner or decorating team). Well...my friend didn't have to do a thing! The AV was tested and taken care of, Brad took care of controlling the music as per my schedule, and the decor/setup was exactly how I imagined it would be. They truly know what they're doing and the food/drinks were amazing! Definitely recommend this venue over any other in town. Thanks!

We held our wedding reception of 38 guests at The Sensory on September 12, 2025 and from planning to execution our experience was exceptional. Terry and his team calmly and expertly supported us with every detail, and was able to customize any and all aspects of our event. Our guests were blown away by our menu, and the views from the dining room and patio created the perfect backdrop to our evening. 10/10 recommend. We can’t wait to celebrate our anniversary Dinners at the sensory and enjoy the amazing food all over again.

We celebrated our wedding reception here and it was a breeze the whole time! The event manager Terry knew exactly what to do, we gave them full reign to decorate however they thought would look nice, they helped coordinate the whole evening and we are very happy with how the night turned out. The food was excellent, the bar and food service was fast and efficient. Highly recommend.

We had a great time here, the food was excellent and the cocktails were really good. Nice atmosphere for a fancy dinner with the wife, our server was very friendly and entertaining. Prices are higher but it was worth it, we will be back.

The Sensory hosted my daughter's wedding for 23 people. The space included the use of their covered patio on the second floor complete with a heater if the evening turns cool. Working with the owners and staff was a joy and the plated meal was excellent. There were two choices of packages but modifications were easily done to accommodate preferences and health concerns. The food was delicious and all the guests were able to choose personal preferences from the 4 courses offered. We felt that, after we walked in, The Sensory seamlessly helped us orchestrate the evening. Their gracious attentiveness and assistance was exemplary. Setting up and removing was easily done and scheduled to meet everyone's timeframe. The establishment is on the second floor, overlooking the iconic Three Sisters mountains and an elevator allowed easy access. I would highly recommend The Sensory for your more intimate wedding, 20 to 40 people, I believe. We had 23 people and were able to have one large table which fostered the sense of family and close friends.

We hosted our wedding dinner at The Sensory in Canmore, and it was truly unforgettable. From the moment we walked into the beautifully decorated private room, we knew we were in for a special evening. The space was romantic, intimate, and perfectly set the tone for a celebration with our closest friends and family.

Our guests were treated to a plated four-course meal with the option to choose their dishes, and every single course was outstanding — beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. We've had so many guests tell us it was one of the best meals they've ever had at a wedding.

The service was just as impressive. Our private bartenders and servers were attentive, professional, and warm — creating an atmosphere that felt both elevated and welcoming. A huge thank you to Terrance and his amazing team for making the evening seamless, memorable, and so special.

We can’t recommend The Sensory enough for any special occasion — especially a wedding dinner. It exceeded all of our expectations!

It is very rare when you find yourself groaning with delight with every bite of your meal.
This was our experience at The Sensory Restaurant.
Every dish exploded with savory sensations.
Particular delights were the lamb lollies and the mussel appetizers. The magnificent view (complete with double rainbow!) added the finishing touch to the evening.

Exceptionally good. Everything we had was top notch. Balanced flavours, exquisitely tasty. Menu isn't that extensive but our group had a wide selection of menu items available, and all members of the party said it was superlative. Great service. I would happily recommend this as an event space or as a restaurant. Be prepared that it doesn't feel like a traditional restaurant. I think they are mostly a rentable event space at this point, but it's worth checking out. Reasonable prices for the high quality of the food and experience. About $120 per person if you're going all out, 1 appetizer per person, meal, dessert, and two drinks. Nice wine list. Happy we went!
