I did not even get to eat here as I was treated very rudely by the staff over the phone when trying to edit my reservation I understand that it was busy, but that is no excuse for rudeness and I was really looking forward to the food, but will not be going due to the fact of the rude service over the phone. The manager and hostess were unkind and it was unacceptable.

My family had a great time while dining at the Wood. The server we had was attentive and was able to work with the staff to make changes for any dietary restrictions. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The interior has a warm inviting mountain vibe that fits perfectly with its Canmore setting. This will be our go to spot in Canmore going forward.

Great time at the Wood with friends. My friend ask for a Blue Moon and the waitress found a great one and checking after to see it was ok. 👍 👍 👍 For the waitress (Night BA), on Busy Friday too. That is the best service I see for years. Also,I love my Tuna Wonton Cup.

Great food and atmosphere. Looking out at the mountains is always a plus. Cranberry sour beer was a first - is definitely return for more. Appetizers were filling. The wonton nachos were different but amazing. Great way to mix-up nachos!! Will return next time we’re in Canmore.

Great spot, huge patio facing the Three Sisters, warm log cabin atmosphere in the restaurant. Recently renovated and looks fabulous. Huge menu with everything from burgers to noodle bowls and a ton of great Appetizers. Massive Craft beer selection and reasonable wine list. Staff is charming and knowledgeable and there's street parking and a lot behind the building.

MELISSA was our server tonight and we had a bad experience , she was late and not checking on us like she did with other tables.
Always rushing us from the beginning and at the moment we paid she was grumpy and upset, she never ask if we are doing ok and she just threw the machine and bill and left.
We wish we had been served by someone else.
Also there is no access for wheelchair and strollers.

Korean spicy chicken sandwich was not good. Even the sauce was missing - we had to ask for it. The bean burger was lack lustre. Definitely not fresh. The service was lovely. The table was too cramped for seven guests.

I had the Linguine Puttanesca and my husband had the cedar plank salmon. We ordered the wood Caesar salad also to start. My linguine I felt was missing flavour it was a bit spicy in olives and capers without the taste. I love olives but this just did not bring out the best side of olives. My husband enjoyed the salmon but said it was a bit dry and over cooked. The vegetables were undercooked coming in a bit hard. The mashed potatoes were excellent with great flavour and cooked to perfection. The music got too loud and was irritating genre. The view from our table was beautiful. 🤩
