Love this place! Super high quality products!
Delicious air-dried meats!!!
Was craving a fancy sandwich and this placed delivered! We had the Valbella Special and the maple pepper ham sandwich and they were both delicious. We didn’t know they didn’t come toasted so I think we would have appreciated being asked but that’s okay, we’ll know for next time to ask! Also got a charcuterie platter because it just looked incredibly and it is delicious. We will definitely be back, it’s nice to have a spot away from the main Canmore area. Staff were very friendly and general vibe was great.
Bill, Bella has a great deli. Lots of selections of meats. Pre-made sandwiches are also very delicious
Been coming to Valbella for over 30 years , the products are always 1st class, the service is always exceptional and they always carry a good quantity of specialty products , especially those from Switzerland, its reminds me of the items my parents made for me as a child, always great! Thank You!

Ever since the whole homophonic incident with the owner I haven’t gone back until today to buy a turkey for thanksgiving. I saw on their website that at 2pm today they were selling the turkeys that didn’t get preorder so I drove from Banff to go get one right at 2. When I asked the cashier about it he seemed to not know so went to ask who I now know to be the Manager, Annette. She seemed very annoyed with me asking about the turkey because apparently I was too early, 5 minutes that being, and that someone was working on it and would take about 30 minutes. I told them I’d wait but they did say 2pm so I’m a bit annoyed myself. There was a lot of the cashier asking questions and then walk 10 ft to where the manager was while I watched her reaction and rudeness to her employees and him coming back and asking more questions. In the end I got an 8.7 lb turkey for $101 which is completely unbelievable. That being said I will never shop at Valbella ever again.

After a long morning of hiking, we stopped at Valbella's for a sandwich and coffee. No regrets! I ordered my favourite - pull pork sandwich. The meat was tender, the sauce was delicious and the bread moist and fresh! My husband ordered the schnitzel sandwich with just sauerkraut and he absolutely loved it. We enjoyed the cafe atmosphere, quiet with the warm sun shining on us. I definitely recommend this cafe! This small market also provides the locals with a variety of meats, cheeses, and produce.

Beautiful displays, great products, courteous, friendly staff and the children loved this little Switzerland in the middle of the Rockies! Had a great lunch there!
A must as a stopover on the way to the National Parks.

Incrediblely dissapointed we stopped here for breakfast this morning on our way thru town. Stopped in around 8:50 and tried to order a breakfast sandwich , which I was told they could not accommodate as they had run out of eggs. I then said well you have eggs for sale here, can you not use those and no, they can't she stated. Not sure how you run out of eggs within an hour of opening on a long wknd.

Never been to the restaurant. My cousin gifted some of your Beef Goulash to her mom, who never got around to eating it, so it waited for a slow, impending icy death in the basement freezer until I discovered it earlier today.... Dated "... Best Before Oct 2023..." it was frost bitten despite being inside a presumably sealed container. I simmered it slowly for about half an hour or so on med/low and the aroma that filled my apartment nearly bests my grandma's Hungarian Goulash.... I couldn't be bothered to honor this dish on a bed of noodles or something as I was starving after a long trip home earlier. I'm telling you guys - THANK YOU FOR EXISTING! I'll for sure drop in and offer free kitchen labor for a day just to gleen your recipes! Hahaha!

Avoid the touristy town centre and go here to get everything you need including great coffee, snacks and prepared food. Very tasty baking, mouthwatering deli meats and cheese, etc. A selection of cheeses and meats are available 24/7 in a gourmet vending machine should you arrive after hours. Prices are very reasonable and great outdoor seating. It is located just a few minutes off the highway in a quiet area on the outskirts of town. Locally roasted Mountain Blends Coffee (located across the street) is served.

Why buy modified over priced meat from the grocery store? Buy from a local butcher like valbella! Their meat is fantastic their prices are fair and the market/bistro they offer is delicious, lots of great options! Have always and will always be a fan
