Went for my friend birthday lunch and everything there was phenomenal. The 3 of us shared a large chowder and angus beef tataki, and each of us got an onigiri and bento box. We also got dessert; cream brûlée, swirl soft serve and dessert of day. For drinks we got matcha latte, and for the road matcha bubble tea, (yes we girls can eat!). Everything just delicious, and the owner is so friendly too! Definitely coming back 😊
I wanted to gatekeep this place as it is a very pleasant tea house. Make sure to book a reservation as it can be busy and they have limited seats. The food was tasty and the desserts were beautifully made. I liked the matcha bubble tea—could’ve been a bit stronger, and the kinako topping would be even better with a smoother texture. Service could improve a little (would be nice if they double-checked orders especially for pre-ordered sets), but the owners were super kind and...
Great selection of Japanese tea. Loved that it's located in a garden centre. The food was great. We went on a weekday between breakfast and lunch so we managed to get a table without reservation.
