Wild Life Distillery & Cocktail Bar

Tourist beware !
Sampled some of their products at the market and they told us about happy hour $8 cocktails at their tasting room from 6-8. We decided to go. Told the bar tender we were there for happy hour. We ordered the community cocktail and solar therapy. We asked about happy hour and he told use the community cocktail wasn't part of the happy which we understood since part goes to charity. Drinks were pretty good. Then the bartender came around 5 mins till 8 and asked if we wanted to order any more drinks before happy hour ended. We ordered a arriba margarita and an all fired up. Both were pretty good. When we asked for the bill we paid before really looking at it, but then realized none of the drinks were happy hour prices. We asked and she told us none of the drinks we ordered were part of happy hour. She laughed and asked if everything was OK. But she stated there was nothing she could do. So we left with a sour taste. We both felt like we were bamboozled, misled, or possibly scammed. We never found out what drinks were included with happy hour. There's nothing on the menu, website or social media about what's included. Just wish they were more transparent.

We have been coming to Canmore for our anniversary every year for the last 12 years. We started visiting wildlife when they first opened. And it is a place we have never missed visiting every year since. The staff is always friendly and their cocktails are the reason I enjoy gin now. They make an excellent product and everyone we have dealt with are wonderful people. Thanks for adding to our anniversary weekend every year.

A fantastic stop! We wandered in after seeing a sign on the road and were absolutely delighted to find many delicious spirits and cocktails. Will definitely be back!

We stopped here for an afternoon cocktail, and safe to say we will be back! Both of our drinks were delicious, with a special shout out to the Careless Whisper - one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. The service was very friendly and top notch as well!

Amazing views of the Three Sisters, unique and refreshing cocktails and very kind and attentive staff! Would definitely recommend for a casual cocktail, and they have outdoor seating!

'I dare you to find one you don't like' was the opening cheeky line from the awesome bar tender at Wildlife. We took his dare and lost ;). Everything was amazing and we walked out with 2 delicious bottles of gin. We split a gin tasting and a cocktail and it was truly an experience. Also the smoothest vodka I've ever tasted. Hands down beats the Euro vodkas. Will be back.

Fabulous spot with great drinks and even better staff! Stopped in for a tasting and the staff was so personable, they provided great insight to a nearby home we were planning-and the drinks were so tasty too.

Nice little distillerie. Staff is friendly and professional. I had a Barrel aged Negroni that was delicious. Really good music. Easy access.

We first did the tour and had a great time! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining the distilling process. After the tour we made our way over to the tasting room and each of us tried different cocktails and flights. The drinks were fantastic and we also enjoyed the service. Highly recommend doing the tour and also stopping over at the tasting room!
