Realized I’ve been a frequent customer for a while now, but have never given a review! Criminal! Barleys has been me and my households choice for our Sunday “treat” dinner for about 2 years now since we moved back to the area, and it’s killer basically every time. The spudders are amazing and I get them every order. At this point I’ve tried almost every dish and they all hit the spot. We’re not dine-in people, but that hasn’t stopped everyone from learning my name...
Was working in Carstairs for a few days back in mid October. Went here once and ended up here every evening after work. Had dinners here plus hit it on wing night. Our server Shirley was great. Very friendly and brought me Coors original in a bottle so she wins!! Food was great. I had a variety from the menu, steak sandwich, burger (2 bites in then took the picture), pork bites, pizza, megaton of wings. Everything was really good.
I’m not a local and wasn’t sure what to expect. I stopped in here to meet a friend and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised! The menu is fantastic and offers a wide variety of options to chose from. Excellent value all around and the small taco salad was fabulous with plenty of beef! The wings were great too. It’s definitely a dated pub environment but it’s clean and I’ll take great food over an upscale atmosphere. Plenty of seating too!
