Good food, I wont rate it best burger ever but it was good stop on our way to Calgary. Its a drive thru only with a couple of tables outside the place.

If you want a great fast food meal, this is the place. Small town service with a smile, old school drive through experience or walk up and sit outside and enjoy. Food is a 10☆ out of 5. I recommend the pizza burger with mushrooms extra sauce, but the whole menu is solid. Best variety menu in the province! Consistency is quality, Eat here, when in Carstairs! ☆☆☆☆☆

Have been going to the Burger Baron in Carstairs for decades. Was just there yesterday and had the Baron burger with fries and a pop. They're still a really good burger with and both burger and fries are decent size giving you good value for your money. I've also been getting their beef donair's more than a few times this last year. I've got to say they are one of the best around. If you didn't know they had donair's you should go and try one. I am confident you won't be disappointed. The staff always have a smile on their faces and are super pleasant to deal with. And their milkshakes are awesome as well! If you're in or Passing through the car stairs area you should definitely try them out.

Still stands as one of the greatest burgers in Canada. A quirky experience, friendly staff, and off the beaten path. Order your food, then go get a candy bar at the gas station and pee there. Come back for the burgers, watch the trains and drive to Crossfield for the donuts.
Used to get the best donairs here, so was very disappointed when I finally was able to stop by and get one, only to discover the meat has been either loaded with pepper or hot spice that I couldn't eat it. I've been eating donairs for over 40 years but I think I can safely say that's my last. For those who can eat hot spicy food you'll love it. They put a good amount of meat on. They didn't know how to fold it properly so mine fell apart while I tried to rearrange it, but it had good proportions of the ingredients.
