“Not a bad item on the buffet! The cesar salad and the large dessert section(my fav was the cinnamon roll) was a big hit! I have never seen such a well looked after buffet in all my 55 years! We recently found them and make the little morning drive from Lethbridge! Don't change a thing!”

“Hands down the best Gluten Free pizza I've had! We tried both the Gluten Free crust and the Cauliflower crust. Both were excellent! I also love how you don't get skimpy with the toppings. Keep up the great work!”

The service was wonderful and friendly. The 2 servers were very pleasant to speak with and tentative.

The food was okay but nothing of go out and buy again..
We had the spinach and artichoke dip - it was creamy and delicious but I found there's was too much spinach and cheese and not enough artichokes.
I had the turkey brie club sandwich with sweet potatoes fries the turkey was very dry and the brie was off. The potatoes fries were overcooked and slightly burnt.
My husband got the Ruben sandwich and it was very soggy with the sourcrout, and wasn't the greatest.

Overall 4 stars as the service and atmosphere were wonderful. The food was what you'd expect for Pub food.”

“The chicken Caesar wrap was OK. Nothing spectacular stood out to make me want to rush back for another one. I love going to a restaurant and being able to taste something that you know was made in-house. An example would be a distinctive housemade dressing that when you bite into it, you know it is from the Franco restaurant. This is did not get.

I will go back and try something else. The service was very good and the restaurant was very clean.”

“Me and my family stopped by after our road trip and I must say my experience at this DQ was very pleasant. The person taking our order was very friendly and police, also didn’t had to wait that long for our order despite it being busy and they had a concrete patio outside to enjoy the food and the street view. Good people and good food, would recommend stopping by!!”

“2018: deep fried wontons i think only come with orders over $30, so make sure you order over $30!

Good food, we usually only do buffet with occasional take out. Order holiday food well in advance. Mothers day, fathers day, any kind of event like that will be taking supper orders 4-6 hours in advance.

Probably one of the best portion and taste wise, worth the drive to coaldale.

Edit: Aug/2025. So, since the new owners have taken over, the quality of service had gone downhill. Long waits for buffet refills plagued it for several years. Covid also hurt Ming’s.
So it’s sad to say that Ming’s on a Sunday buffet had only 6 tables full from 5-6pm. Most of the food is of near pre-covid quality. Also, they have upped their buffet refills game. Come on Coaldale, we need to give Ming’s another shot!”
