We were headed to McKay's but it was closed so we decided to give Abbey's a try. The customer service left a lot to be desired. The gentleman behind the counter was very unfriendly and said few words to us while we were there. In fact, we felt as if we were an inconvenience to him. The interior of the store is colorful and well decorated. They had a variety of flavours however, we found it hard to choose as we prefer the more traditional options, which they were all sold out of. The waffle cone was pretty with the chocolate and vanilla swirl design, but my daughter said the chocolate left a weird film in her mouth and the cone itself was stale. In the end we were not overly impressed with their items, the customer service needs a lot of improvement and I found them to be a bit pricey compared to the competition. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Had intended to visit Mackay's but the line was insane and we'd seen a sign out front of this place just a block away. Gave it a try and glad we did. Some classics as well as a few flavours neither of us had ever heard of. Scoops were extremely large!

We live round the corner and thought we should try it one more time years after the bad experience we had. No changes. Poor service for sub-standard highly priced ice cream, they still think they're doing customers a favor. You can stand there for hours and they won't entertain you. Yet the next customer walks in the staff is serving them instead! Sad. Guys, please learn from village ice cream, made by Marcus, parlor ice cream and McKays alike.

Had about 4 flavors the rest were "all out" according to the unhelpful staff and the flavors were very eccentric. Went elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend coming here when there's a much better ice cream shop down the road.

Found this delightful new location which appears to be in addition the the five I know about in Calgary.

I enjoyed a Kid’s size single acoop of something I had never tried before. The ice cream was a mixture of coconut, cream, and purple yam, I believe!

In any case, it was really lovely, and the only suggestion I would have would be for Abby‘s Creations to put out three little round white tables with white chairs because they are in a shadowy shaded area on Main Street and those little white chairs in round shape would make it pleasant for two or four people to enjoy their ice cream once they had purchased it inside.

We are having such hot days this summer I am certain it would draw more customers !

Congratulations on making wonderful ice cream ?

Too expensive for a small scoop of ice cream. Mackay’s is way better still.

There was a huge line and it was going super slow because she was alone. McKay’s across the street was closed and we came here. I think that it’s a wonderful place for families to go to for a small ice cream break.

Monica was so sweet and so amazing she treated us so well, this is the best ice cream shop in Cochrane. I love it there so much and the shop was so cute! Definitely recommend :)

Smallest $8 scoop ever, mediocre ice cream, and unfriendly staff. Would have been better to buy a pint at the grocery store. Save your money

Outrageous price for the amount of icecream you get. 8$ and it was around half a cup of ice cream!

Almost $10 for a stale cone and bearly one scoop of low quality, obviously mass produced, basic, processed ice cream. Service was passive aggressive, like i get it you get paid minimum wage but cmon for $10?!

Average at best. Very generic tasting ice cream. Won’t waste the money again.
