I can definitely see why this place is so highly rated. We booked the kaiseki omakase, and were absolutely blown away by how unique and fresh the food was. The highlights for me were the hand pulled duck udon, the wagyu/foie Gras sushi, the Sesame tofu (?) appetizer, and of course everything on the sashimi platter. My partner loved the barracuda. Absolutely incredible experience. This small, intimate Japanese restaurant in Cochrane is a true hidden gem. You can tell the owners put their heart and soul into everything they do — from the carefully crafted menu to the warm, personal service. It’s not your typical walk-in spot; you need to book and order in advance so they can prepare fresh, high-quality dishes, but trust me, it’s more than worth the effort. Super friendly staff working there. Food is exceptional with a great experience. Explained all the food you were eating and where it comes from. Been here before but would definitely recommend and would come back. 10/10 both times we've been here. Make sure to make a reservation before coming.
