I’ve been to Edo Japan many times before without any problems, but these last FOUR visits have been a nightmare. Every single time, I’ve ended up sick—stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, and running to the bathroom nonstop. Tonight, my boyfriend and I both ate there as we decided to give them one last chance. And now he’s extremely ill too. That’s two people down from one meal. And no, I don’t have a weak stomach. I can eat just about anything without issue, so this is not normal. It feels like their food just isn’t fresh, which is scary considering they’re serving fish and meals that are supposed to be safe. This isn’t just bad food, it’s dangerous. Edo Japan needs to seriously check their food quality and safety. Has anyone else experienced this? Because at this point I want to know if it’s just us, or if other people are getting sick too.

Our food was good. We always get the kids bowl. Teriyaki chicken bowl. We've had it at 3 other locations in Calgary but at this location the bowl had very little chicken. Also it was not very hot. I don't mind waiting a little longer for food as long as it is hot. But this one wasn't.

I always enjoy coming to Edo in Cochrane.I like all the food that I have tried and the new ownership is a real breath of fresh air so I also enjoy eating in. Everyone is very friendly and the place is very clean. I recommend it and there is always lots of parking around the store.
