It was a good restaurant to eat at before but now with only take out and delivery and you can’t sit down to eat. Not sure what happened with the management to make this decision but I will not be ordering from here ever again. Good luck but I don’t see the working out very well.

The pizza here has vegan cheese, and nice soft dough and flat baked crusts. The pizza is delicious and perfect, and there’s lots of topping options. The toppings are good quality, for example the olives are fresh and full and only sliced in half lengthwise. Famoso even has nice chewy vegan pepperoni slices! The food was okay, a little too salty for one type of pizza but the service was quick, friendly. The place had good atmosphere, felt open, spacious and welcoming. The dessert was delicious as well. Would go again and price was reasonable.

Came in tonight with my husband, who ordered a margarita pizza. He was asked if he wanted chilli flakes and he said yes. He ate two slices and then added the chilli flakes. When he went to take a bite of the 3rd piece, it was loaded with salt. He told the server who proceeded to examine the bottle, then went in back to ‘dump some out’, then said ‘oh it’s just broken flakes’. My husband tried to show her the chunks of rock salt on the pizza and she proceeded to dump more on his only napkin to show him, basically calling him a liar. She walked away to talk to the guy who made it, to come back and say ‘it comes with salt’. Chillies come with salt ? She proceeded to walk away again and tell the cook ‘I guess he doesn’t like salt’. My husband sat there for 10 minutes and watched me eat as his was inedible. After I was done, he was mad and we both wanted to leave, she asked if he would like them to remake it or a box. Nothing like going out for dinner, being called a liar and then getting a $5 discount on a $19 pizza that he couldn’t eat. Will NEVER be back.

I’ve had take out from here before and paid an astronomical amount for less than a cup of soup. That was my experience awhile ago and when I showed the restaurant, the manager was supposed to reach out to me and never did.Recently we went to eat there admittedly fairly close to closing time (we already knew what we would order upon walking in even tried to call to order ahead without luck as no one picked up).It says they close at 9:00pm. That was not the case. Was there at 8:40 and doors were locked, lights off already. The hours on the door say open until 9:00pm, Google also says open until 9:00pm.If you want to close early then just change your hours until 8:30 or 8:00.Not too pleased with famoso, but have had awesome experiences everytime with the morning Ricky’s crew for breakfast, I just wish they had shredded hashbrowns like their menu shows.

We got the margarita pizza and it was delivered to our house using skip the dishes. The pizza was great overall, it was cooked nicely and the dough is great! But when we got the pizza there was almost no mozzarella and very light sauce. It honestly seemed too expensive for what we got.

Pizzas are not prepared in the same oven as a Famoso franchise and so the crust tastes very different.

Thought it would be comparable to the one in calgary. It wasn't. Won't be returning.

Tonight was the first time ordering from Famoso in Cochrane. My husband and I were very excited since we had a friend recommend it as they love the location in Calgary. Our pizzas were awful. Overpriced, barely any toppings, lack of flavour and for the amount we were charged to build my pizza, the barely there ingredients were a joke. Such a disappointment.

I ordered delivery since I had a gift card to use up. I hadn’t tried the Cochrane Famoso but I’ve had it before in Calgary and it was delicious, so I was expecting it to be similar.Sadly we won’t be ordering from here again. I got the Hawaiian pizza that advertised fresh pineapple chunks. The pineapple was canned and there was barely any cheese on it. The crust tasted off and it didn’t have the big puffed up edges like I’ve experienced previously at a Calgary location. The caprese salad didn’t have the big mozza slices. Instead it had a small amount of cut up mozza (picture was taken after I took a couple of tomato slices and a bit of cheese out for my daughter). The food was really disappointing and I’m sad that I wasted my gift card on this.

Very disappointed in this Famoso pizza! Flavourless, no pesto, no chicken. Basically a cheese pizza. The crust was good, that was the only plus. Famoso, you can do better!

The best pizza, the best salad, the best meal and the best service. I highly recommend this restaurant.
