Had drove in from Calgary with my boyfriend for some ice cream, I got a 1 scoop and boyfriend got 2 scoop we drove to the park to eat it and when I ate mine there was a hair in mine so we drove back and the staff / manager seemed not to really care and seemed to not really want to give a refund on it probably just go to DQ from now on disappointing

I am in love with the Keso ice cream here. All the other flavours tho also have such a nice creamy rich flavour to it. Always come home with 3 litter of ice cream after visiting Mckay. My top 3 favourites are : keso; avocado and coffee
Not dog friendly…quite rude about asking us to get our dog outside of the store before serving us, and no dog-friendly options. While sampling the flavours we were trying to find one we liked (which was a little hard) so they started trying to limit our ability to sample the flavours. In the end we had to settle with flavours that we did not necessarily prefer due to the pressure that was being placed upon us and had to eat in the cold because they wouldn’t let our dog in. Do better.

Driving all the way from Calgary to CC was worth the ice cream was too good milky soft we loved it will highly recommend and will visit soon

What can I say that hasn’t been said hundreds of times already? They know ice cream! Made with real ingredients- a novel idea other ice cream corporations should take a page from. Nanaimo bar is pretty unique ice cream flavour, however, tried and true cookie dough take my top spot. Great staff know how to take care of you - this place is a can’t miss (most don’t)!

This is truly an institution here in Cochrane, it's not even debatable, possibly the best ice cream parlour in Southern Calgary area.
