Our 3 different dinners were hot and delicious.
Our party of four was delighted with our first dining experience at Portofino.the service was outstanding.Our Waiter was extremely attentive without being intrusive..He was very knowledgeable and polite. Our food was exceptional. I especially enjoyed the Seafood soup. The food arrived steaming hot and in a timely manner.It was an all around positive experience.We will definitely be back for more of the same.Thank you.
What a dive. Cant believe they are still operating. We visited over the holidays. The food was nothing special, the wine list...not worth looking at. Perhaps the owners/manager should actually visit Italy. Then they re opening...awful service, poir quality and over priced
Each meal we had was delicious (lasagna, seafood spaghetti, veal parmigiana). Will make the drive to Cochrane to go again.

We have been coming here for dinner for over a decade and must say that it is our FAVOURITE restaurant in Cochrane and the Calgary area. The staff are like family to us and we have always loved the atmosphere, the amazing service and the incredible features of the day. Never disappointed. The wine suggestions are perfect as well. Portofino is where we go for casual and dressy date night, bringing friends and celebrating occasions. Thanks to Pierre and his wonderful staff for creating our home away from home.

Amazing, absolutely fantastic fresh made authentic Italian food. Highly recommended However, a can of pop cost $4 and service was slow.
There are some meals, a very few, that live in memory forever, and our dinner at Portofino was one of them. I had the best imaginable spaghetti carbonara - I'm not having it anywhere until I'm back here. Every single thing was perfection - I'm kind of surprised to find such amazing food in a somewhat weird area! Please go - you'll be so glad!
Nice ambiance inside. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious albeit a little pricey for the portion size, but probably not out of line with other similar Italian restaurants.
