Loved this place! We tried the miso soup, tempura vegetables, seaweed salad, and a variety of rolls. Everything was delicious and there was a lot more we wanted to try so we’ll be back. There is a separate vegan menu you can look at but all the vegan food items are on the regular omni menu too.
They don’t require reservations but they like reservations… we made a reservation about a half hour in advance for a weeknight dinner.

My husband and I were passing through Cochrane and stopped here for supper on a busy Friday evening. In spite of how busy they were, we were able to be seated fairly quick. The service was great in that the staff were kind and fast. Our food was amazing and our cups always full. I would absolutely eat here again ☺️

So incredibly happy that there is a 10/10 sushi place in Cochrane! This was divine!!!! As a person who has been to many of the spots in Calgary, I would personally rate this as top 5- if not 3... For the price and the quality- you can’t go wrong! We got a party tray for take out, for four people, $100. Unreal. As a person new to Cochrane who has had very mediocre experience with the cuisine in town, I’m ecstatic to find a place that I can finally rave about!!

Always a great experience here! I actually don’t think it’s too pricey for the quality, we usually pick two rolls each and it’s $50/$60 dinner for two. Quality is always spectacular as well as the service, a favourite of ours for date night!

Unfortunately another negative review for Sakura. Which is sad, because our last order was amazing. The inconsistency of the quality of the food is staggering and disappointing. How it can go from fresh and delicious to fishy and inedible within a month does not make sense. Unfortunately Sakura has been this way since around the time of Covid. My wife and I went on new years of 2021 and sat for two hours while we saw delivery after delivery go out the door. An order from Sakura costs a small fortune, I don’t think it’s too much to ask for fresh/tasty sushi.
