The service was good except that when our beers bubbled over, they should have asked to exchange them for something else. We had the dinner for 2 with Thom Sum soup and frankly they were rather boring - no spice at all even in the spicey sate chicken. The vegetables were under cooked and the rice noodles had sat for too long and stuck together so it was difficult to pry them apart. Scratch this off our list.

Came to Cochrane this weekend for a hockey tournament. Hopped online to search for the best Vietnamese in town.
The place was hopping busy and I think they were short staffed but they still did a decent job in checking in on everyone and food came about 30 minutes after we arrived.
Unfortunately they forgot to get my to go order ready (Banh Mi) but I still got to try vermicelli lemongrass beef with spring rolls and they special Thanh Thy stir fry.
Now we loooooove Vietnamese food. Everything here was fresh and plentiful but it didn’t leave any of really wanting to come back. The food was good but it’s like it was missing that something extra to make it delicious.
Maybe it’s what we ordered and it’s more of a pho speciality place?
Anyhow, healthy fresh and gets the job done for fueling a hockey player.

Unfortunately either is the chef or they don’t have the right ingredients to keep the taste in food. Spent over $60 and everyone went to bed unsatisfied. Too disappointed!

Nice place! We had the grilled pork&spring rill vermicelli bowl, special fried rice, and satay beef pho. All delicious. Great service from the two very friendly people working!! October 21,2025
Had the grilled pork and spring roll vermicelli. The pork was dry and tasted off. The spring rolls were fried in stale oil. Service was nothing - took our order, delivered the food and then came by to see if we needed takeout containers. Tea was cold. Overall a very disappointing meal.
