The server was nice and quick, but the atmosphere was horrible! It was dead quiet, felt like we were in a library where no one could talk. I cannot understand why there wasn’t music playing? Also- menu was a bit weird. I think this pub could be great- just need to make a few tweaks.

We had a delicious meal there today. Between us, we had the fish and chips, a burger and the stuffed Yorkies with Guinness stew. The service was wonderful, and the food was delicious and took us back to England. The sticky toffee pudding finished off the Experience. We will be back for sure!

We had supper at the shire pub tonight, it’s been many years since we’ve been there. The service was very friendly and the food transported us back to England. Really enjoyed the fish and chips, the stuffed Yorkies with Guinness stew was delicious! And the sticky toffee pudding was soooo good! Highly recommend!

Me and a girlfriend were visiting Cochrane when we decided to top in at the pub. The atmosphere was cozy and the bartender was fabulous! We sat at the bar and got to know the local people and had an amazing time. They told us the fish and chips was great, so we went back the next day and ordered the fish and chips to go with the side of peas. It was the best fish and chips, the cook also came out and said hello talked with us about our meal. It was a fabulous experience and I highly recommend this pub!
