I picked this place because it had a great rating but I was mislead. My husband and I both had the burgers and they were definitely pre made from frozen and the buns were cheap grocery store kind. They were however however topped with fresh lettuce and onion. I had the yam fries that were good but my husbands regular fries were breaded and over slated. The service was great though. I would recommend this place if you are looking for quick diner type dinner but not if you prefer quality food.

I had such a fantastic dining experience at River Rock Grill that I had to leave a review! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. But the real highlight of the evening was the pasta — it was genuinely some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Fresh ingredients, rich flavour, and cooked to perfection — every bite was a treat!
A big shoutout to our server, Priya, who truly made the evening memorable. She was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive without being overbearing. She had great menu recommendations and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. You can tell she takes pride in her work and genuinely enjoys what she does — something that really stood out.
Between the amazing food and top-notch service, this place definitely earned a 5-star rating. If you're looking for great food and a team that cares, River Rock Grill is the spot. I’ll definitely be back soon!

My husband and I have never been to this place and decided to finally try it out. The risk with trying somewhere new is you never know if you're going to love it or if the food/service sucks and you end up regretting it. I've been disappointed so many times, I went in with low expectations. I'm happy to announce that it was a success, I ordered the butter chicken, my husband had the beef dip - it was amazing, honestly. The butter chicken was the same if not better than two of my other favorite restaurants. The beef dip is always my husband's go-to dish when dining most places, usually it's decent enough but this one was surpsingly one of the best.
Don't sleep on this place, the delicious food was a pleasant surprise.

Was a great restaurant but I've now driven twice from Darwell (60km away)only to find the place in darkness. I suggest that the place is temporarily closed only to find that someone has told Google that they are open. At least post a sign in the window explaining the situation or leave the business description as temporarily closed
