I've been coming to this place for many years, but this is my first time back in a while. The renovations look good. The place is extremely clean. Was greeted immediately once I walked in. Service was very quick and friendly. The food was also very good and came out quickly. I arrived at 8 pm and wasn't aware they close at 9 pm. The wait staff were still very helpful and did not rush us in any way. Excellent place. Highly recommend.

While inauspicious on the outside, the atmosphere inside is bright, clean and cosmopolitan. What the service staff lack in smiles and friendliness they more than make up for in elegance, professionalism and fast, efficient service. The menu is international and varied. I chose three items off the set menu. Every item I ate was the best version of that item I have ever eaten. I live a few hours drive away but if I lived here, I would eat here very often.

Excellent casual cafe with delicious fresh food at good value. The place was bustling with families and service was good. Portions were generous and all of the food was fresh and delicious. Our party of 5 included a former Hong Kong resident, who says this cafe is her favourite and the best authentic Hong Kong cafe in Edmonton. Also with us was a 6 yr old and 3 picky eaters who also loved the food.
The extensive menu had plenty for everyone. One of us chose her favourite 1-2-3 combo meal with chicken and the rest of us shared family style dishes with mango pudding to finish. Best garlic green beans ever! All the dishes were tasty and fresh.
The extensive menu would benefit from a few descriptive symbols (e.g., to denote vegetarian, very spicy, etc.) and perhaps some brief descriptions but the wait staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The menu is in English and Chinese.
We'll definitely be back and they also have delivery.

Mothers day Dinner takeout celebrated with raw chicken dishes.Both were raw(E3 Sichuan Spicy Chicken and F5.825 Mala Spicy Chicken Pot) Mothers day celebrated with Pizza at the end. Do respect the restaurants struggle but this is unacceptable. I didn't want to do this. Order time 8.20pm.

A good Hong Kong style cafe. The menu is extensive, and the food is delicious. The clay pot rice is very good, a recommended dish to try. Just keep in mind that the clay pot rice takes up to 30 minutes to prepare. The prices are reasonable.

Place is small but rustic. Gives you real Hong Kong vibes, with the open kitch and servers speaking in their native language it's great. Menu is huge bit hard to navigate. Prices are very reasonable. Need bit more cleaning. Lunch time it's not that crowded but dinner time it's gonna be sold out

Our experience at 852 Hong Kong was disappointing. My spouse and I didn’t feel welcomed; I’m not sure why. We waited over an hour for our food, and they completely forgot about our order until we reminded them. Even after that, it took extra time, and there was no sincere apology. The food itself was okay, but for the price, the portions were quite small. Others might have a different experience, but for us, it was really disheartening.
