The food is fantastic. If you have had the pleasure of experiencing East African bbq, you know this is the spot in Edmonton to visit. If you have not, order the beef ribs or the plater with beef ribs, mishkaki and seehk kabab and some naan, will keep coming back. A must try restaurant in Edmonton.

My dad and I come here twice a month without fail—it’s our go-to spot, and for good reason. The beef ribs are amazing. But what really makes this place feel special is Sharifa, who serves us every time with warmth and kindness. Great food, amazing service, and a place full of good memories. Can’t recommend it enough!

WOW, I’m loving this place the samosas are truly amazing. I have been here 3 times now and just can’t say enough about the quality spices and value for my money. Everything I have ordered has been fantastic.

The food selection was so incredible and my Hakka Noodles were delicious (and reheated like a dream the next day). My only complaint is that one of the menu screens wasn't working but sometimes things are beyond control and I was able to look at the full menu online. Everyone was so kind and helpful. They could clearly tell I was a first timer and they took extra care to check in on me a few times. I can't wait to go back!

Our friends booked the entire restaurant for their event and it was our first time. We were immensely impressed with the food quality and tastes. One dish was goat, which was tender with flavorful seasoning. Though the goat was my favorite everything was great, including the service. They handled the event very well! Definitely worth repeat visits to try other menu items!

No consistency in cooking style of Biryani. A month ago a friend of mine brought me beef biryani and it was East African Style and thoroughly enjoyed it. Subsequently it was chicken biryani very dry. Cooked flavor rice with dry chicken pieces. After this I got beef biryani at least 4 packets and it was not East African Style, more like Pakistani Style I guess and portion was down. I hope my review helps the chef to be consistent and increase the price to keep the portion of same size with decent pieces of meat instead of randomly 4 or 5 pieces. If you going to cook biryani other than East African Style then please mention it. Very disappointed with last order of biryani.

Very high quality food, the chicken karahi was especially good and you could tell that it was made with fresh tomatoes. The chicken tikka paratha roll is delicious and worth coming here just for that alone Service was great and the kitchen was really clean which is rare for restaurants that serve desi food My only complaint is that the naan could have been buttered a bit more as it was a bit dry, but the rest of the food was good enough for me to overlook that and still give 5 stars

There's something calming about the free and open space here. It is scuffed but heart warming at once. We sat at our table for what felt like only 5 minutes chatting and laughing loudly at jokes and the food came. The food itself was excellent. Matching the food, to the people, and the space we were in, made this place a definite go to if you're with friends or family. Their wide variety of dishes all hit close to home and feel nostalgic in some sense.
